Yeah, a normally "in good shape" person finishes about 4 hours on average. The super-athletes finish around 2:20, so Grind's friend with 3:30 is pretty danged good.

I was much better over half marathons but just seemed to run out of steam at around 22 miles.

They've been used to make homemade bombs by everyone for decades.
 
why would a guy that has problems against the government or taxes bomb crowds of people? even timothy mcveigh targeted at least a federal building. It would make no sense for some right winger to bomb the marathon. it 100% fits the classical terrorist m.o. I don't know why people are pretending that islamic radicals are beyond consideration here.

I don't think anyone's ruled out any group. I'm just saying normally Islamic terrorists take credit rather quickly to incite the jihadists.
