Republicans Aren’t Christians

46 million killed each year, that's not more important than a few wars?

Have you ever killed a baby? I know I haven't. Roe v. Wade made abortion legal. That doesn't necessarily make it right. It makes it a choice to end a pregnancy. The law is clear and Constitutional...if you don't like the choice that some people are making, do something about it...get into counseling teens. Get a job at Planned Parenthood as the person that goes through the options available.

I know....it's much easier to bitch on a message.board.

EDIT: your 46M number is world wide. It's approximately 1M/year here...and 4.7M live births.

And how does a background check infringe upon your right if you aren't a criminal or insane? It DOESN'T.

Since it's already a crime for a criminal or someone insane to buy a firearm, how's it going to help?
Is there a requirement that before you sell a car, that you have to check the criminal background of the buyer?

So by your logic, it should be my choice to legally knock off my neighbors, or my fellow drivers on the highway, if they inconvenience me...

I worship him, serve him, give thanks to him, you disgust him with your disease of liberalism
Well if liberalism is a disease then I'm glad to be counted with such sick fucks as Washington, Lincoln, Jefferson, Adams, Madison, Monroe, Roosevelt, King. In the mean time I'm sure you feel right at home in the company of Bull Conner, George Wallace, Adolph Hitler & Jesse Helms.

And yet; here you are judging others on your perception and assumption of what they are or aren't doing.

hmmmm!!

Yet???

No, there is no perception or assumption on my part. That's on the Christians who spend their time imagining the horrible sins that people do in private and correcting them for it. I am referring to statements made by them here in a public forum.

You are making a false dichotomy by claiming that we either must support anything goes or a vicious and hateful condemnation of others based on technical infractions of old laws. Frankly, your argument is not much different than the Pharisees who used the same of sort of stupid arguments to try to ensnare and trip up Christ.

ll we need to do to enforce current laws is to, well, enforce them. We don't need an act of congress to do that.

Sorry, but if a guy comes at me with a knife I'm not turning the cheek. Being Christian is not a suicide pact...

Not when there's a glitches in the law that allows straw purchases to be made via private sales.

And how many times has that happened? How old are you? I'm 48 and have only once been the victim of a crime...somebody stole the speakers out of my car because my dumb ass forgot to lock the back door(pre-electric locks). I think the fear and paranoia you guys show is so overblown. You can't possibly enjoy your life living in fear and waiting.for something.bad to happen.

And Home invasions? You have a better chance getting struck by lightning.

You show me in the constitution where it says a woman can kill her unborn child.

You tell me how liberalism is anywhere near what lincoln, washington, madison, adams, monroe, tghought this country should be, and how i differ.

I stared to carry after I'd been harassed as an adult. I was on a pre-survey inspection of a pipeline in the middle of nowhere and two rednecks in a beat-up pickup started to orbit the area, playing loud music and whoopin' it up at 2:00 in the afternoon during the week. HAven't been harassed since. But I've been threatened or harassed several times before that, when I lived in the Northeast, where ownership of a handgun is nearly impossible...

I went to Yellowstone last week and took my pistol with me. Went on several long hikes, saw bears...

A home invasion is unlikely for me since I live in a very nice neighborhood in an area with an incredibly low crime rate. Folks who live in E. Winston aren't as lucky. Why don't you want them to be able to defend themselves?

You don't know what you are talking about or even what to look for. The Constitution was not intended to enumerate or limit the rights of the individual but the powers of government.

I wouldn't say that they're not Christians...they just choose.to ignore a pretty significant section of Christ's teachings because it's inconvenient to think that social justice is indeed part of what Christ taught.

It's much easier to focus on individual sins that don't effect them...homosexuality, abortion, etc...

Anyone who thinks government should take/steal from one to give to another couldn't be a christian.

I agree....why are these low wage employers demanding that government subsidize their shitty wages?

EDIT: read the story of goats and sheep...otherwise known as the JUDGMENT OF NATIONS

Because they're the jons who bought the whores that run congress?????????

The voters who should know better, but keep taking it up the ass.

Thank Citizen's United...they're the ones with the nonstop mudslinging commercials with vague names like "Americans for.progress" and "Americans for Prosperity"...I mean who wants to regress? Who doesn't want prosperity?

Commercials who any idiot can see are lies and half truths....just like the one with Ryan pushing Grandma off a cliff....which was one.of the RARE times that liberals did it...Conservatives have the shitty election commercials pretty much to themselves....at least in my neck of the woods....I'm sure it differs from region to region.
