Republicans Aren’t Christians

Actually Grind, you've been there at least three times...but Rana, Desh and Darla get mentioned on occasion too. Not by name of course. I don't go around saying "Grind said, ..." but several here get referenced. Damo is another favorite reference. But you might find it surprising that the attitudes of some of the self proclaimed conservatives on this site get much more mention in the negative than the liberals (reference my previous post, last paragraph). So you ain't got the market cornered there my friend. ;)

Really you mentioned me in one of your sermons? As a bad example I guess huh?

"...which is the sort of thing we hear regularly from the so called Christians..."

Seems like you went to some great lengths to judge others there. :palm:

Yeah, you should hide your face. I pointed out a fact about the sort of venom and rancorous condemnation of others that comes from the so called Christians. I know you think there is some sort of equivalence between calling you an idiot and going into a graphic tirade about the sexuality of others, wishing them death and gloating over some silly expectation of the eternal punishment that awaits them. But that's because you are an idiot.

Helping often means criticizing. I don't know how you always leap forward into theocracy, but it seems to be your defense mechanism against whatever choices you deem too hard to make.

Christ, can you imagine opening your door to find this self-righteous dweeb standing there come to "help" you? Try keeping your mouth shut and feeling empathy for things you haven't experienced. Wisdom comes this way.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH; so when you do it, you're just pointing out a fact.
But if someone you don't agree with, then they're being judgemental.
Got it.

What was the saying about removing a beam from your own eye...?

Ironic post, by Baxter, wil always be an ironic post.

You are an idiot. But I wont ask if you swallow or any of the other revolting comments we hear regularly from the so called Christians. My insults against the mental capacity of others are not equivalent.

I don't claim to be a Christian. Why would I hold myself to the beam in your eye stuff? If you criticize others based on their failure to adhere to a moral code you don't follow, then you've got an error in your logic. I don't follow that book of immorality because it is impactical. I am not in that straitjacket. You are and probably for good reason.

Yes....speaking of moneychangers, why do you support an agenda of.money and power? Did Jesus forgive Peter? After all, the Catholic Church was founded by Peter.

Saul? What did Jesus have to do with Saul?

Yes...he shamed them.

Lastly? You're not Jesus....you are a mere mortal....

Saul, also know as Paul who was killing Christians, and then Jesus blinded him and he went on to right most of the new testament, your point was that Jesus was tolerant of sin. Lets just say I support the rich man who provided my job of the last 24 years

Nah, as I recall it was a point I made about being able to agree with some folks in some areas and not agreeing in other areas but still having respect while doing so. There are stark differences between us and our beliefs but I can have a conversation with you and it not turn nasty. Plus I enjoy seeing you and SF have it out from time to time. ;)

Aw that's sweet, thank you! I feel the same.

Everyone seems to enjoy watching me and Superfreak argue...I wonder if we did a CNN she said/he said show, if we wouldn't be wildly successful? I mean, I probably would be way more popular than he, but that goes without saying.

Because trying to set a National policy based on biblical verse is wrong....especially when the policy isn't supported by the Constitution....as in gay rights. When you set policy that limits the rights of one group of people over another, that's called discrimination. If you do that repeatedly, that's called Theocracy. Ask the Sharia Law folks about Theocracy, or the Taliban....and don't say it can't happen with us Christians...if things get bad enough here, more and more people will abandon Constitutional.Law for God's Law.

And helping does sometimes mean criticizing. But, if you call what I see here on a daily basis "criticism", then no....that's not helping anyone other than the critic's ego and false sense.of self righteousness.

Whatever they already are abandoning constitutional law, like gun control,

Too funny hate monger, I would ask you to point to where I claimed to practive any religion....god what a moron you are.
