Thank you, I was trying to figure out what acronym FUDD stood for. People like him hate sensible gun owners more than anything.

Not only are these guys dying of old age, but the young ones leave their weapons lying around loaded so that their offspring are taking each other out. I believe Darwin had something to say about that...

you should stop taking the idiots definition of acronmyms. FUDD doesn't stand for anything other than supposed gun supporters who believe that the 2nd Amendment is about hunting and nothing else. They feel that as long as their deer rifles are not being sought after, other gun bans are just fine. they are traitors to the gun community as well as naive that they don't believe that their deer rifle will be labeled a sniper rifle when they can.

I really believe the part about not having a standing army. Make it so.

ps. you all are paranoid and delusional. You do realize that insane 'gun community' is limited to a few million uneducated Americans, right? There are 7 billion people on this planet. Good luck. Even Yemen thinks our gun laws are lax. Australia has very successfully regulated theirs. Do you honestly think your closed minded, idiotic view of some perceived fucking right is going to win out in the end? Do you?

while a 30-06 is a good weapon, if you a sniper weapon, go for a bolt action 7mm magnum...with scope, it is good for at least 500 meters even for a so so sniper...

you are not understanding that particular part. the founders feared a standing army, but knew one would be necessary. Therefore the militia (you and me, not the national guard) were guaranteed the right to bear arms in case that standing army were ever to be used against us.

when we so called 'uneducated americans' are mostly former military and have the complete and total capacity to kill, we'll win in the end. Freedom isn't free and must be fought for. we'll do that. you will hire others to do your work. we'll win.

both my wife and i have college degrees

my older son owns and runs a successful business employing over 30 people

my son-in-law has a college degree and is former military (army and marine) (retired as a captain)

we all have firearms and are trained in their use and safe handling

Well, yes a meeting is freedom. Freedom of assembly, freedom of speech, freedom of association...etc. But regardless of all that, the NRA is still a staunch defender of the 2A. Not the greatest, or staunchest, but a defender none the less.

Slang term for a "casual" gun owner; eg; a person who typically only owns guns for hunting or shotgun sports and does not truly believe in the true premise of the second amendment. These people also generally treat owners/users of so called "non sporting" firearms like handguns or semiautomatic rifles with unwarranted scorn or contempt.
