LMAO... tell us christie... what do you propose they do? Strip search everyone who comes within 50 miles? There is a security perimeter for a reason. No matter where you put that perimeter... 20 meters, 20 miles... it is the perimeter. It is going to be exposed to such attacks. The point of the perimeter is for it not to be breached. You want security in place to try and prevent that. Nothing will stop a perimeter from being exposed to such attacks. Nothing.

You're making an argument for the possibility that the Benghazi attack could not have been prevented no matter what. More security or less security, it's always possible to breach security. After all wasn't bin Laden's compound supposed to be uber-secure? Yet we got inside.

The reality is they wouldn't have known about the stupid "film" without the President telling them about it. Nobody but his mom and three friends would ever have seen the stupid youtube video without the President trying to use it as sand for his sandbox... his politically motivated lie.

They were protesting about it prior to 9-11-12.
They were protesting, but not about the "film", only reports from the propaganda machine that is this administration made the protests later in that day in Egypt about the film. That they (the administration) ascribed the "film" (really a short youtube video) as the reason directed attention to what otherwise would have gone unnoticed to the larger part of that community. Following protests were about the "film" that wasn't a film but I lay that in the lap of the people who brought the stupidest youtube video ever to the attention of volatile groups.
So I guess the Obama Adminstration dubbed the film in Arabic, posted it on YouTube, had it aired on Egyptian media and tapped a Salafi leader in Egypt to organize a protest about it on September 11, 2012 at the Egyptian embassy -- all in advance of the attacks on the consualte in Benghazi -- so that the Administation could lie about the Benghazi attack later.

The film was financed by an American group called Media for Christ, run by an Islamophobe in California. Here's a recap of the events. People were aware of it months before the September attack and also knew it was inflammatory.

Um... Your link says that it was uploaded in September just before the supposed anti-video protests staged coincidentally to happen on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks... they weren't aware of it months before, and reports of the video as the cause of the 9/11 anniversary protests were exaggerated.
Later protests were absolutely staged because of the video, but I've already laid that at the feet of the free advertisement from the propaganda machine trying to cover their turd in Benghazi with a worthless short youtube video and the subsequent imprisonment of somebody for using a nom de plume...

The 2012 terrorist attack took place on the anniversary of September 11 and resulted in the deaths of four Americans, including a U.S. ambassador, at the diplomatic facilities in Benghazi, Libya.
A new bipartisan Senate intelligence committee report found that the attacks were preventable and that the State Department, headed by Clinton failed to increase security at the U.S. consulate there.
Sixty percent of voters blame Clinton for what happened, according to a Fox News poll. That includes 28 percent who blame her “a great deal” and another 32 percent who say she deserves “some” blame.
Essentially the same number -- 59 percent -- blames Obama (26 percent “a great deal” and 33 percent “some”).
One voter in five says that the leaders are “not at all” responsible. About four Democrats in 10 blames each: 41 percent blame Clinton, and 38 percent blame Obama.
Obama administration officials falsely claimed it was a spontaneous reaction to an offensive video, even though they had intelligence reports that the attacks were connected to terrorist groups tied to al Qaeda.
The poll asks voters what they think motivated the administration’s misleading statements.
About half think it was to protect Obama politically (49 percent).
