Fluke for Congress

Her sob story....

The House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee convened a meeting to invite Fluke to speak. She put forward reasons why Georgetown University should be compelled to offer health care that covers contraceptive drugs, in spite of the Catholic university's moral opposition to artificial birth control. She claimed that, during her time as a law student, birth control could cost in excess of $3,000. She also stated that 40% of Georgetown Law School's female population suffered financial hardship as a result of birth control not being covered by the student health insurance plan, and that the lack of contraception coverage in the university insurance plans would induce many low-income students to go without contraceptives. Fluke insisted that the women of Georgetown, other religious schools, and employees of religious institutions such as hospitals have endured "financial, emotional and medical burdens because of this lack of contraceptive coverage."

LOL, Christiekins the paragon of Pittsburghian puritanism has a double standard for sexual peccadilloes, it seems.

Clinton + intern, OK.
Arnold + housekeeper, "male-slut"

Acknowledge Racist X's double standard and then we can talk about Clinton.

Did you vote for the lying, cheating man-whore? A simple yes or no will suffice.

We're discussing your double standard, Christiekins. I don't speak for Stormy, but
Y O U speak for yourself, presumably.

Yet you presumed I have a double standard, which I'm taking to mean you think I never criticized Clinton for his behaviour. But feel free to correct me if that's wrong.

Better check the headlines...Fluke may have changed her mind again last night, and could be running for dogcatcher now. :rofl2:

If her constituents are foolish enough to believe Rush calling you a "slut" is reason to vote for her, then she is exactly the representative they voted for...

Unless you are moving there you really have no say in that election. I personally couldn't care any less.

Why do you think that's the only platform she's running on? What did you see to make you believe that?

On a side note, I feel like it's only rightie trolls who use that rolling on the floor laughing emoticon. Am I correct on that one?

Maybe, her constituents thought she was an intelligent woman who shares their political ideals, and isn't afraid to articulate her beliefs.
A few might, but most people are zombies. They're voting for people and making decisions without ever processing more information than the surface rubbish that they get on their chosen news source. It's one of the complaints the left has about Fox News and the right about Slate, MSDNC, SeeBS News, etc.

Did you vote for that male-slut musclehead, perchance?

I voted for his opponent in the primaries. But when given the choice between a lying leftist dunce having a Democratic majority in the State House and Senate, I did vote for Arnold.

I'm amused that you think your lying partisan assholes are better than the Republican brand.

I never said that any lying partisan asshole should be in elected office but thanks anyway for chiming in, numbskull.

True. Liberals watch Fox News more than I do. They sure like posting about it.

I just think it is so funny when republicans get all holier-than-thou about sexual misdeeds on the part of democrats, and seem to suggest that there is something about being a democrat which lends itself to that sort of behavior from which republicans are - supposedly - immune.

that's funny.

Like Newt Gingrich fucking around on his wife - and former illicit mistress - with his intern.... all the while, righteously going after Clinton for fucking around with HIS intern.

funny stuff.

I'd find it funny, too, if I saw it.

you weren't born yet when Newt was fucking around on wife number two... who he was screwing while wife number one was in the hospital... and the one who he was being naughty with was his intern at the time... who is now wife number three? Or did you chose not to "see it".
