Hysteria

Proposing using a system with no due process to limit a right of US Citizens when it would not have stopped what you are using as an example is hysteria. Saying putting a hold on migration from a region is not. Saying that it should only be Muslims is stupid, but not hysteria as such a change would have actually made a difference....

Hysteria is exemplified in getting all angrified on the TeeVee pointing your finger at a pulpit, saying that "THIS IS ENOUGH" and demanding a change that would have made no difference to the attackers but will limit the rights of citizens.

Trumps silly plan based on asking entrants to the Country what religion they follow, is a direct response to those angry voters pointing their fingers at the TeeVee, the hysterical voter.

Common sense gun Control has a higher likelihood of help the problem, trying to ban a fifth of the worlds population from coming to the USA based on self reporting of religion, would not.

Muslims too. Example bad because that story is in both religious lexicons.

No, using his logic both are absolutely flawed and should be banned, he only points out the evils vaguely attributed to the alleged Prophet of Islam.

It had no likelihood to stop this attack, is only hysteria, was not common sense, and had more chance to limit the people being attacked than the attackers. That is hysteria. And it has been the mantra of Democrats for decades... since the attacks began, pretty much immediately after hysteria passed the stupidest of laws, the "no gun school zone" law....

You think trying to prevent a fifth of the worlds population from visiting the USA, or returning to the USA, based on self reporting of their religion has more likelihood of stopping an attack?

I think that limiting migration from people in the region definitely would have, considering half the team immigrated from that area... While I disagree with the action it definitely and directly would have more impact on that day than a knee-jerk hysterical call to take people's rights based on a no fly "suspicious character" list with no due process. These two were not on the list. The woman was a direct example of the "vetting process" so vaunted by the current Administration.

Yes, I believe that hysteria is exemplified by running around in a panic demanding a change that would have no impact and pointing fingers at people who disagree and calling them "unreasonable"...

That pretty much could be used as the definition of hysteria in the dictionary.

As you are well aware, "Limiting migration from people in the region" is not what Trump suggested. Are you so desperate to defend Trumps supporters you are going to pretend he suggested something he did not?

(I don't know what "The Region" is BTW, are you talking about Africa, Middle East, Large swaths of Asia and Indonesia?)

Anyway, Trumps populism has already had an impact on his chances to get elected. It's satisfying to watch him finally dropping in the polls.

LOL. Yeah, that is what he proposed in a stupid way. His stupid proposal would have actually had an impact on that day, your side's "leader" the pResident proposed only changes that would have changed nothing about that day. That is the difference and what makes one hysterical while the other was just stupid, when stupid proposals would have more impact than your flailing you are acting hysterical. Trying to scare your people into something stupid that will do nothing... that is hysteria.

How would his "deal" have helped on that day.

given the political warfare of Left vs Right and the division of a solution, they should feel powerful.

apathy?

there is probably several reasons for this. One is probably the fact that people feel helpless and insignificant but want to survive. Another is probably from people who feel capable of defending themselves, but are not allowed to because of a majority of cowards are more afraid of their fellow americans. Yet another could be that they see their incompetent government for what it is....incapable of actually protecting them or of even trying to.

Suffering the effects of a successful terror campaign.
That is what is supposed to happen. Then the sheep can run to the lion and demand more security and lose his rights in the process.

while those that prefer to handle their own security get ridiculed and defamed by those very sheep.....projection of cowardice

now your having delusions of persecution?

all one has to do is look at how YOU and others, like zappa, run threads and shout insults at people like zimmerman (and his supporters), the zappa thread about the woman who EXPERTLY shot out a tire of shoplifters yet he celebrated the fact that she was tried and convicted of endangering......yet you idiots praise the police and forgive their mistakes when they injure or kill innocents 'just doing their job'.

face it, you're a sheep demanding that the strong federal government protect you because you're too afraid to do it yourself.
