The Christ Haters Are At It Again Folks.

Fear = the known.

The unknown = nothing to worry about.

No one feared quick-sand until after learning about it.

.......................................................................
PS:
Am I saying this correctly? Is my logic obvious?

Oh and another thing, IMO, most avowed atheists can not prove their own idea of atheism.

I know atheist & atheism in its original writ. Most I encounter don't really know why they label themselves atheist, except imo, because they are too haughty to study the subject:
the subject actually is Personalism vs Impersonalism [rather than theism vs atheism].

This is what cracks me up. Jesus didn't worry about government at all. He just wasn't into it. Any discussion of Jesus from a government foundational viewpoint is pointless.

Funny, or not, how the followers just don't get that..........

IMO
Christ's taking of our sins was a the revelation that each individual person has their own indivisible soul...and that the Soul LIVES AFTER DEATH.
Before Christ's terrestrial pastimes it was a myth that the Soul does not die at death & that the soul did not continue on after death.
So since each person has their own indivisible soul...democracy was a defacto philosophy.

The US constitution that separates Church and State, imo was to stop a Politician from advocating his own chosen Religion. Imo the separation was not meant to stop a religion from telling the government what is best.

The US can't tell folks to become Amish...but the Amish can tell the US Gvmt what is best [if it wants to].

But the real problem imo is not any philosophy ---there's got to be a money trail somewhere in the shadows behind "haters" 15MOFO's [15 mins of Fame objectives].

The rule of propaganda is to repeat the message enough times ...

any discussion of Jesus from a government foundational viewpoint is pointless

Except if a Preacher addresses RICO Laws with his congregation ...or Lobbyists ...or Legislature ...or Lawyer ...or with a child

Thank-you. This is a government of, by and for the people. They work for us. We pay their salaries and taxpaying citizens of all faiths, philosophies and beliefs may speak and vote our preferences to them at any time.

Emanuel, Christ on Earth, a direct connection between the individual and God is what Christ represents to me.

Churches have done much harm by perverting the word of Christ over the years. The idea that one needs a Church to have a relationship with Christ is blasphomy.
I have tried hundreds of churches in my life, never found one that was not corrupt at its core.

sad.....but I expect you didn't try very hard.....

It does not matter, their might be a valid one out there, I don't need it. Christ has provided me an opportunity to have a relationship with God without a Church.

Oh put your skirt down and wipe the spittle off your chin, bunky.

To date, no one is preventing you from attending the church of your choice or worshiping how you deem fit. No one is preventing you from personally saying MERRY CHRISTMAS to anyone. And last time I checked, the midnight mass is still broadcasted on MSM affiliates throughout the country, various department and food store chains still blare the usual Christmas theme music with the word "christmas" in it. this will go on until December 26th.

Get a grip.

Yes, he offered salvation.

He did not propose to harness the government to force humans to BEHAVE like he wanted. The disciples were NOT being led in a political movement. They didn't call for revolution. They didn't demand that laws be changed. In Paul's letters to the Romans, we see Paul strongly stating that even the rule of Rome was fine - an amazing statement if you read history.

Jesus did not suggest that those who obeyed His laws or perfectly avoided sin would be saved.

He did not suggest that a wealthy person would go to heaven - even if that person took the first step of giving up all his wealth.

He offered something very different than what you describe.

Our founders offered something consistent with that. Before nationhood, the taxes collected by some of the original colonies went directly to the dominant church of the state. Those with different beliefs were often outcast.

Instead of that, our founders wrote the 1st amendment and divided government from church. And, states were smart enough to NOT write laws where the only justification was "sin".

Your people suffered a crushing defeat in the national election. I will predict that next Christmas time, there will be a cross atop that community tree. Donald Trump has made it one of his major campaign pledges to restore religious liberties to we the people and those community people have a perfect right to put Christ back in Christmas with the cross atop the tree. In fact, to your dismay, there's going to be plenty of crosses on community trees and other christian symbols on community displays right in your face.

You've had the federal government and the ACLU on your side as you try to completely secularize Christmas with your Christ hating but what you have failed to take into account is the army of lawyers on ours, both houses of congress controlled by republicans, a Christian friendly Trump in the white house and a department of justice supporting all those lawyers I just mentioned who will all go after you on free speech grounds and not necessarily free religious expression grounds. Whatever works but it will work.

You and your secular Christ hating pals had better enjoy yourselves while you still can. Major changes are coming.

I believe you haven't read or fully comprehended any of all my posts on this matter.

I already said we are to obey the laws of our governments to the point those laws do not directly contradict the Word.

I nowhere stated "that those who obeyed His laws or perfectly avoided sin would be saved." Salvation is by grace through faith.
No, I fully got what you said. It is you that are having a reading problem.

I didn't ever accuse you of not obeying the law or intending not to obey the law. Nowhere have I said ANYTHING like that. We have a long history of civil disobedience in the US, and it's obvious that you may take part in that. I don't object to THAT, either.

What I have stuck to is the issue of religion attempting to create law where the only justification for the law is ... religion.

And, I pointed to same sex marriage as an example. The only objections to same sex marriage are PURELY religious. Scalia and the rest demanded that there be law against same sex couples - purely because of personal religious beliefs.

Read Scalia's dissent in Lawrence v Texas. He stated flat out that once sexual behavior between consenting couples became legal, there was no remaining justification for denying marriage to same sex couples - since religion is not a sufficient justification.

In fact, that is a clear statement that his subsequent findings against same sex marriage were simply more cases of Scalia being an activist judge, making law from the bench when even HE knew there was no constitutional foundation.

I think you got confused when I pointed out that this tactic of modern religious extremists in the US was of NO INTEREST to Jesus.

Good luck on that. The rulings and precedents have already been set. Try that kind of bullshit and you open the door to EVERY religion for their holidays. And you moron "Christians" can't stand that.

You want the government to tax them, don't you counselor?
