Secondly, these local debates that get national attention primarily are about majority vs. minority usage of community property. These debates are usually couched in local ordinances and/or state/federal law. The final outcome depends upon if particular religious displays violate those laws.
Nothing in your rant changes or disproves one iota of what I previously stated.
So Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holidays, etc., etc.
Learn the difference between what the people want and what the government demands.
I pointed out that it was a harmless cross probably made of plastic atop a Christmas tree who's entire display life wont last more than a month. It is you and your allies who cannot tolerate the Christian religious aspect of the holiday and the cross atop the tree is a perfect example of such. No one would be offended at it's sight except all those who have an agenda. The type of people who sue other people because they are offended.
Learn the difference between county, city, state and federal law. What happens in one or two towns or in one department store chain for one month is NOT the law of the land. Capice"?
What happens in one town is not the end of the world for folk like you, because all this month I watched or witnessed nothing but "christmas" commercials, movies, etc. Christmas music blared from various department stores along with displays, on Lord knows how many radio stations, etc., in my town...."Merry Christmas" was the greeting by various employees, folk just walking down the street, etc. Every Sunday morning I see all several evangelical preachers do their thing.
So all this decades long hysteria by the likes of right wing hustlers like O'Reilly and Hannity or by Murdoch publications and their sycophants (i.e., YOU) is just that....hysteria. A matter of fact, a matter of history.
But facts and logic were never your strong point. Parrot on.
