Jamal Khashoggi : Should Trump complete US arms sale to Saudi's?

Whatever he did got him killed, musta been something to the Saudi power structure. But hey, it's not like america gives a fuck about human rights or a free press anyway.

I'd say that voluntarily entering a Consulate of a country he'd fled under a cloud after a falling-out with the Crown prince was pretty fucking stupid, if that's what he did.

And no, this American doesn't give a fuck about "human rights or a free press", neither of which exist.

I think we all know that. It is the murdered's fault for getting murdered, the raped's fault for getting raped, and the planet witnessed america's withdrawal from the UN Council on Human Rights, which yes, america never really believed in at all anyway. We are who and what we are.

Why post what we all know?

Dude, I'm only marginally interested in what you have to say. You're a clone. You aren't even slightly interested in facts.

Sen. Rand Paul: It's time to rethink America's relationship with Saudi Arabia -- It is not our friend

excerpts ...

"So what now? What do we do with this politically important country that clearly is not acting in the best interest of the U.S. or its own citizens?

Well, we can start by cutting the Saudis off. We should not send one more dime, one more soldier, one more adviser, or one more arms deal to the kingdom.

There are those who look at this option and say: “Well, what about our jobs, and won’t someone else sell the Saudis weapons?”

First, let me start with saying that is not a good enough reason to prop up the outright evil being perpetrated by the Saudis. But even accepting that, it is laughable to think that the kingdom, which has long been reliant on and trained on American military equipment, can suddenly change course.

What we have here is leverage. The Saudis need our help and weapons. And we should make sure that this need causes a change in their behavior.

It isn’t enough to talk tough and then give the Saudis what they want. We have to force their hand into real reforms, internally and abroad.

With the outrage caused by their recent actions, now is the time for bipartisan corrective action."

Read the entire article, find regime change.

I don't give a shit about what you bold .. I operate on what is factual .. you do not.
WTF do you think "replace" means?? how can that NOT be regime change??
no other way to say it when you have Paul calling to "replace" MbS and you support that.

Arms sales/sanctions are a different question then regime change.

You've become an interventionist, a moralist, as well as a hyper-partisan, and lost the ability for critical thought.
sad!

Someone's certainly gotten hyperized. Fuck the Saudis.

You've become quite an idiot .. and a laughingstock stooge. :0)

Rand Paul is doing his job .. and therein lies your problem.

lol.
I almost feel sorry for your inability to follow a concept such as "replace" = regime change.

If we were talking about Qadafi and Libya you once had a clue when we went in with such horseshit
"responsibility to protect" it was nothing more then regime change. I don't know who stole your mind good brother.

:0) Dude, you're a dummy. A stooge with a typewriter.

How much weight do you think I should give a dummy feeling sorry for me?

I was much smarter than you on Libya, still am.

We are partnering with the Saudis in their genocide in Yemen, even having gone so far as to supply them with internationally illegal cluster bombs, known to have a 90% collateral casualty rate in the field. Paul is correct, any nation that has slaughter as a jobs program is a rogue nation. But you know what they say about laying down with snakes.
