Teabaggers have spent message board careers claiming the 2nd amendment allows them to be prepared to overthrow a tyrannical government by military force if necessary.

If you are going to play Rambo and take on the armed forces of a tyrannical government, surely you would need weaponry that at least approximates military capability in range, ammo capacity, ballistics, , aka assault rifles.

Why do you think they don't? Semi auto is a very handy tool when hunting. It gives you a quick second follow up shot. Especially if hunting bear or wild boar.
