Nobody says healthcare should be free. That is a false argument. It should be paid for by our taxes. Other nations show that we can cover everyone and save over 50 percent of the costs. It would take the cost and administration off the backs of our corporations. That would make them more competitive with countries that do not put healthcare costs on companies. It would eliminate the gatekeepers that stand between you and the healthcare you paid for. Insurance companies fight your care to increase profits. They bribe politicians and have enormous lobbying powers. They merely extract profits from healthcare.

As a medicaid provider I can tell you for a fact that private ins. companies police fraud far better than gubmint does. And they do so because of their profit motive. Makes sense.
