I don't know where you live but the last time gas was under $2.00/gal. here was in early 2016.
You can't tell by my signature? Gas was $1.58 here last October. October 2020. It was cheaper in Georgia.

I have signatures and avatars turned off. But I checked into this and you're right, our state has the 2nd highest gas tax in the country, right after California.
