The kangaroo court in the news

I doubt it.

(Times are video times)

At about 3:25 the officer on this video asks the female and male passengers if he's on drugs. She answers "No, he got a thing goin' on, he got problems..."
At 3:58 an officer asks Floyd "Are you on something right now?" Floyd answers, "No, no..."
At 4:35 Floyd again says "I'm not on something..."

I've removed any doubt.

"Homicide" actually means something far less sinister when used by coroners.

It essentially means somebody died under non-natural circumstances requiring an investigation for possible criminality.

One should also note that earlier in all that video, the officers did ask Floyd if he was on drugs and Floyd answered that he wasn't (clearly a lie given what we now know). Had Floyd been honest about his drug use, the officers might have responded differently.

There's no way to know, and speculation is not something to be indulged in in a legal proceeding, AFAIK.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison quickly took over prosecution for the case from Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman, who first charged Chauvin last May. Prosecutor Matthew Frank, head of the attorney general's criminal division, has taken the lead in the courtroom so far.

Several high profile attorneys are working for the prosecution pro-bono, including Steve Schleicher, who voiced the state’s side during jury selection, and Jerry Blackwell, founding partner of Blackwell Burke, who has questioned several witnesses called to the stand this week.

Other private attorneys assisting prosecution include Neal Katyal and Lola Velázquez-Aguilu.

According to a press release.

Agreed on that. But Floyd clearly told the officers he wasn't on drugs, as did the woman riding in the car with him. So the officers very likely went on that information or at best had only suspicion that he was high and would have no idea about what he was on.

:dunno: It's not relevant.

What is relevant is the toxicology report.

It is relevant. The officer's actions could have been different if they knew Floyd was on Fentanyl and other drugs. But neither he nor his passengers let the police know that.

Juries are routinely instructed not to rely on speculation when deliberating.

Pretty much.

The are 5 manners of death used by coroners

Natural
Accident
Suicide
Homicide
Undetermined

The manner of death in this case was homicide. Death at the hands of another.

The cause of death and any criminality is another issue.

Thug Floyd was 6-foot-4 and 223 pounds, according to the autopsy, which also found fentanyl and methamphetamine in his system.

Derek Chauvin is 5' 9" and weighs 140 pounds.

So Thug Cop Chauvin has the "Shorty Boy Complex" huh?

Pretty much explains it!

I believe it is. That's a good point but if the claim that Chauvins knee is what caused floyd's death, I think a reasonable question then is, how is floyd able to speak while Chauvins knee is on his neck? Also if floyd is complaining about not being able to breathe before the knee is applied then again it seems reasonable to consider that the knee isn't responsible for floyd not being able to breathe. Lastly how does someone speak if they cannot breathe?

The police officer being squashed against the door inside the capitol was also having breathing problems but was still able to yell "help."

SHE MUST NOT HAVE GOTTEN ANY OF THE $27 MILLION

Saint George Floyd’s "girlfriend" of several years, Courteney Ross, "battled tears" Thursday morning as she testified in court about her relationship with the patron saint of the Church of Woke, including their struggles with opioid addiction.

“It’s something we dealt with every day. It’s not something that comes and goes,” said Ross, who wore a necklace that spelled "Floyd". She said she last saw Saint Floyd the day before he ascended into heaven to sit beside Saint Rodney, Saint Trayvon, Saint Breonna, and Saint Ahmad.

Ross described Saint Floyd as a gentle man who loved to work out and play sports.

So what? Are saying people lying to cops should be strangled? Try and make sense.
