TARP wasn't wasted, and neither was the stimulus (you seem to be confusing the 2).

The kind of job hemorraghing we were experiencing the 1st part of the year doesn't stop on a dime. Anyone who is intellectually honest, and has even the barest understanding of economics, gets that.

The indicators are turning around.

Please. I have stated what Socialism is; which, btw, is different from Marxism (socialism is just a stage toward a Marxist state).

You are doing nothing but mindless fearmongering - and I say mindless, because again & again, you have displayed complete ignorance about what the political concept of "Socialism" is. There is nothing the liberals are doing or proposing which even vaguely resembles "Socialism."

you sound just like this one guy i knew decades ago. I would hear him tell stories about the case of beer and bottle of jack he'd drink every day, but he wasn't an alcoholic. He even went so far as to say he's been cutting down his drinking, by saving two beers of the case for his shower the next morning.

you sound just like him, willfully ignorant of the totality of the circumstances.

Like I said earlier, this is not a debate over the intricacies of various forms of socialism, ALL socialism ultimately fails and always destroys freedom and liberty.

Karl Marx philosophy can be summed up in one quote; "From each according to means, to each according to need." This is precisely the 'mantra' of every Democrat policy, all the way down the line.

That doesn't amount to any kind of rebuttal that the economic indicators are looking good right now.

Frankly, I've been amazed at the pennywise, pound foolish attitude of most TARP/stimulus opponents since this crisis began. The American economy lost more between October - February than TARP & the stimulus combined cost.

People don't get it.

It's not means, it's ability, and if that is all you understand about Marx, it's now wonder that you see Marxism everywhere.

Marxism = communism. Democrats believe in free enterprise & capitalism.

"means" and "ability" are synonymous! Are you trying to distract and divert, or just being typically stupid here?

If Democrats believe in free enterprise and capitalism, why have they done NOTHING to promote or encourage either one? Why have they, instead, moved in the OPPOSITE direction, restricting and punishing free enterprise and capitalism?
