Mega MAGA
There you go again, ruining liberal wet dreams with basic mathematics.62.7% of 1% is only 0.62% of total car sales.

The wet dream irrationally lives on!Nah. It doesn't ruin their wet dream. They discard mathematics.
And the stress on our power grid is increasing meaning more fossil fuels are required to keep up with the pace
How exactly do you think our grid is powered?
By magic?
The more you stress it the more fossil fuel you need to power it
Not rocket science
Conservatives always come out against sustainable, domestic sources of energy.
It's like their new "anti-business, anti-jobs" stance. Just weird.

California shut down it's last nuclear power plant just last year. It has also been shutting down coal, oil, and natural gas power plants.
They generate less than a GW of their own electricity now.
The products' technology and storage capabilities will allow electric vehicle owners to use their cars to provide power when there's an outage.
And the stress on our power grid is increasing meaning more fossil fuels are required to keep up with the pace
Incorrect, Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant is still very much up and running. The nuclear power plant supplies about 17 percent of California's zero-carbon electricity and 9 percent of total electricity.

If you want to find another way to restore power when the lights go out, General Motors may have you covered.
The auto company has a new business unit, GM Energy, which will start offering the Ultium Home energy system, a suite of vehicle-to-home products that people can use to provide back up energy.
The products' technology and storage capabilities will allow electric vehicle owners to use their cars to provide power when there's an outage.
Customers can buy the products in bundles but GM Energy hasn't said what the packages will cost or when they will be available, adding that both will depend on what a given customer chooses to purchase.
"Certain Ultium Home product bundles are planned to be available for order in the fall of 2023," Samantha Kennedy, a spokeswoman, said. "More information on that, as well as information relating to how customers can order the initial Ultium Home products, will be made available in future updates."
You need not wet your panties over it, TinkerBitch. Renewables will take care of the power grid increase.
Everybody wins (except MAGAs of course) BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA!!!
THIS CHINESE-MADE EV CAN TRAVEL 640 MILES ON A SINGLE CHARGE
“There are no boundaries to the EV industry in the future.”
by Brett Aresco*/*July 1, 2023
With more and more Americans switching to electric vehicles — EVs now account for around 6% of all new vehicles — performance is becoming just as important as availability.*
That’s why it’s a pretty big deal that Chinese automaker Zeekr has unveiled a new model, the 2023 Zeekr 001, an electric car that can reportedly travel a whopping 641 miles on a single charge.
If the new vehicle can deliver on its purported specs, it will represent a milestone moment in EV development. Automotive news website Motor1.com writes that the 2023 Zeeker 001 would be “the world’s longest-range production vehicle to our knowledge,” as the car would be capable of driving from Washington, D.C. to Atlanta, Georgia on a single charge.*
Argument from randU fallacy. Unconstitutional. Making up numbers and using them as 'data' is a fallacy, dummy.Study says switching to EVs could save more than 89,000 lives by 2050
Government agencies making up numbers and using them as 'data' is making the same fallacy. So are you by quoting it.A new study by the American Lung Association tells us many things we already knew but didn’t really want to hear.
Fossils aren't used as fuel. Fossils don't burn.Noxious gasses emitted from fossil fuel-burning engines
CO2 is not a 'toxic fume'. It does not cause heart disease. It does not cause lung disease. It does not cause asthma. CO2 is in your lungs as a matter of NORMAL FUNCTION.cause a litany of health issues over time. Asthma, heart disease, and lung disease are all byproducts of toxic fumes,
Bullshit. No gas or vapor has the capability to warm the Earth.and although it seems obvious, more EVs and less gas-powered cars will benefit our own health and not just improve global warming.
Nothing to 'clean up'. What you are proposing is fascism, and unconstitutional. The report projects that if just the U.S. could figuratively and literally clean up its automotive act
Fascism is unconstitutional.and achieve 100% zero-emissions vehicle sales and generate non-combustion electricity by 2035, it could dramatically change the landscape of American health.
...annnnnd here come some more random numbers...How dramatically?
Made up numbers.By 2050, the study projects almost a $1 trillion reduction in healthcare costs, more than 89,000 fewer premature deaths, and 2.2 million fewer asthma attacks in just the U.S. alone.
There are no 'health benefits'. CO2 does not cause the health problems you are making up.All those health benefits correlate to a total of nearly 11 million fewer lost workdays,
No. Fascism and communism destroy productivity and income. Destroying 11 million jobs and over 8 percent of the economy is NOT improving productivity.which translates to a mountain of productivity (and income) for businesses across the country.
Unconstitutional. So while many of us still revel in the sound and feel of a small block V-8 ripping through the gears, exhaust roaring proudly, we have to come to grips with the idea that those days need to end,
Unconstitutional.or at least be reduced significantly.
Destroying economies isn't betterment of the world.Change isn’t easy for anyone, even when it’s change for the collective betterment of the world.
Communism. Unconstitutional. Communism and fascism don't work.Getting there will require more than just consumers switching to EVs — manufacturers need to get the costs of electric vehicles down to make them more affordable and the government will have to invest in infrastructure to make the plan feasible.
But much like tossing those cigarettes in the trash,
Yuck. You want to force these revolting things as food? Do you know how many vegetarians are malnourished?? A lot.or trying out a veggie burger,
Fascism and communism doesn't work, dude. It is tyranny. It is unconstitutional.while it might feel strange today, our future selves and the world will be grateful we finally embraced the change, because it really is a good thing.
You can't charge your car when the power is out, dumbass.
Not in EVs'. The Li-ION battery remains pretty much unchanged since the 80's. Lithium provides 5.19Kj per mole. It always has. Nothing changes that. To build a 150Mj battery, you need that much more lithium (just under 1 ton).Technology improves, TinkerBitch.
No breakthrough. Lithium provides the same 5.19Kj per mole it always has.TOYOTA’S NEWEST BREAKTHROUGH COULD BE THE ‘KISS OF DEATH’ FOR GAS-POWERED CARS — AND COULD HIT THE MARKET AS EARLY AS 2027
Okay...let's discuss these 'breakthroughs' as reported by this twit report, Mary Swansburg:The breakthrough occurred on two fronts.
TANSTAAFL. Lithium provides 5.19Kj per mole. Nothing changes that. To build a battery that goes 621 miles instead of 330 miles, you must build a bigger battery. That's physics, dude.Findings for lithium-ion batteries will result in increased battery life and shorter charging time, common concerns among prospective EV buyers. Current EVs allow for approximately 330 miles on one charge, while the updated battery could handle up to 621 miles.*
Li-ion batteries are already solid state.Solid-state batteries would take that even further,
To go 745 miles, you need an even BIGGER battery. One that weighs over a ton.allowing for approximately 745 miles on one charge.
So you are going to go 745 miles on a coin battery! Gotit! You are fucking CLUELESS, dude.Created for items like pacemakers and smartwatches, they are similar in structure to lithium-ion batteries but historically have not been durable enough to support EVs.*
Li-ion batteries are already solid-state.Toyota’s new breakthrough could put EVs with solid-state batteries on the market by 2027,
Li-ion batteries are already manufactured on automated assembly lines.and they have mentioned zeroing in on a more affordable manufacturing process — leaning more on automated processing than human labor on an assembly line.*
NONE that I can find. Oh...that 'health benefits' post of yours, totally made up shit.Best of all, EVs provide a long list of user benefits.*
Reversal fallacy. You have it backwards. You are AGAIN ignoring the property TAKEN by force to build charger stations. You are AGAIN ignoring the cost of the lithium or the car. You are AGAIN ignoring the cost of maintenance on EVs. You are AGAIN ignoring the cost of insurance on EVs. You are AGAIN ignoring the true cost of the EV.Currently, it costs about half as much to power an electric car than it does a gasoline-powered vehicle.
Sorry dude. Property was taken by force for that charger station at the mall or business.Public charging costs are expensed by the minute — meaning that with the breakthroughs in battery life, owning an EV will become even more affordable.*
That's communism. You are making me pay for YOUR car.On top of that, there are federal and local monetary incentives depending on where you live,
Blatant lie.and EVs require less maintenance overall.*
Blatant lie.EVs also leave a much smaller impact on the environment.
Define this 'pollution'. CO2 is not 'pollution'.Just one electric car on the road can save 1.6 tons of pollution annually,
Okay. Now you are locked in paradox. 10,000 lbs is NOT 1.6 tons. Define 'harmful gases'.while gas-powered vehicles produce, on average, over 10,000 pounds of harmful gases per year.*
Li-ion batteries are solid state. There is no convenience to constantly having to charge your car, drive around heavy EV cars, and performing almost all maintenance through dealership only.In a recent Reuters article, solid-state batteries were called “the kiss of death” for gasoline-powered cars — speaking to just how convenient and wallet-friendly this new batch of EVs may be.*
