QED bitch.
Double standard much?So remove those laws, don't make others. Keep government out of my bedroom and hospital room.
That's two deviations from the "norm". According to you anyways. Regardless that's still within the "norm" per your definition.Cite.
Not at all. I've been remarkably consistent, as always.Double standard much?
Cite the peer-reviewed research that backs up your assertion. That's two deviations from the "norm". According to you anyways. Regardless that's still within the "norm" per your definition.

Madison defines what "general welfare is" in Article I Section 8. It does not include medical insurance.
Making more bad laws to compensate other bad laws is never a good idea. All that does is give the government more power.i think that is what obama is trying to do, but as president, he can't remove the other laws, but he can use his executive power to implement the new rules
Explain.i agree....how then do we deal with hamilton?
Madison defines what "general welfare is" in Article I Section 8. It does not include medical insurance.
That's because there wasn't anything resembling medical insurance. Even during the Civil War when someone was shot in the arm or leg it either healed on it's own or it was sawed off, often without anesthetic and that was 70+ years later. What would have qualified as medical insurance or even medical care back in the 1700s?
(Excerpt) Although not specifically mentioned in the Constitution, Congress has also long asserted the power to investigate and the power to compel cooperation with an investigation. The Supreme Court has affirmed these powers as an implication of Congress' power to legislate. (End)
Article One of the United States Constitution - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It's called using common sense and the welfare of a country depends on the health of it's citizens. It is not necessary to specify medical treatment anymore than it was necessary to mention Congress' power to investigate.
As Madison stated, "But the idea of an enumeration of particulars which neither explain nor qualify the general meaning, and can have no other effect than to confound and mislead, is an absurdity..."
In other words stating every possible circumstance when it's obvious it belongs under the general meaning would be absurd. The Congress is tasked with keeping the country safe and providing the opportunity to secure the blessings of liberty and that involves securing the health of the citizens.
Also, medical care wasn't specifically mentioned as there was no specific way to accomplish that at the time the Constitution was written. Do you honestly believe Madison wouldn't have wanted the government to offer citizens health if he knew of a way?
Making more bad laws to compensate other bad laws is never a good idea. All that does is give the government more power.
Explain.
Perhaps, but I'd like to see the context.i know you are aware that hamilton's view of the w/c is much broader than madison's
Same dif. Don't follow it and the fascist bastard puts a gun in your face.the executive branch does not make laws, obama is making an order
So remove those laws, don't make others. Keep government out of my bedroom and hospital room.
