An interview with Musk and what DOGE is doing

In the past 5 years we had a 2% increase in population and a 53% increase in spending. That is not sustainable. We HAVE TO decrease spending. We can't keep saddling our grand kids with debt.

What this admin is doing is largely performative, imo.

They're making a big show of it, and it's red meat for MAGA. But they're also (from what I've seen) firing people who really bring value and some who have pretty important jobs in terms of keeping America safe & healthy. It's seems reckless, haphazard, and minimally effective.

What they've done is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of what we spend.

Exactly at least Trump is trying. I am thankful that Musk is trying to help. If they balance the budget we should put them on Rushmore

So you’re in favor of doing nothing.
I personally witnessed so much fraud and waste by gubmint employees that I wanted to scream. It was rampant to the point where I’d say encouraged. The oversight was by those actually committing the fraud.
If I was in charge I wouldn’t have fired them. I would’ve arrested them.
Same as I did with my front desk lady when I had my business. Had her arrested.
