YOU do NOT go in cutting everything FIRST , you go in and find the waste and fraud FIRST then you cut the waste and fraud you did find.

Musk is not acting to end fraud and abuse. He is slashing jobs to justify a tax cut for billionaires. Trump promised one and without firing the people some way, he was going to have trouble justifying it. Ending every govt job would not touch the cost of his tax cuts. He grew the debt in 4 years worse than any president ever, even in 8. He will do it again. He does not care.

How does that "tax cut" work? It takes an act of Congress to cut taxes. So, how are Trump and Musk cutting them? I'm sure you must have a plausible answer to that unless what you posted is just bullshit Leftist talking points.

Most of us want to see the ACTUAL waste and fraud cut and IMO the US Congress should pass a law to make EVERY spending bill is a stand alone bill NO PORK,
If you want to fund a project it has to be able to pass on it's own NOT have a lot of pork added to it to make sure it passes .
I read and listen to right wingers complain about running up the debt with waste and then go back and look and see it is the Republican controlled House that are the ones that have been passing bills that can't stand alone and are full of pork and are driving up the debt NOT the DEMs or left wingers .
The MAGA ( right wingers ) cried and cried about Obama running up the debt about 8 Trillion in EIGHT YEARS and then when TRUMP runs it up ALMOST AS MUCH in FOUR years not a word out of them about that.
I guess it is alright for a right winger / Republican to run it up but not a DEM. and most of the time the Dems are running it up so we can get our economy back on track from the Republicans running us into a recession or almost a depression like BUSH II did.

That is the thing I get up set about , NOBODY I know is against cutting waste and fraud NOBODY.

If it's fraud and waste, shouldn't it be cut? What standards would you propose be used for cutting a program or funding that might be fraudulent or wasteful?
Do you not understand that we are spending more money than we are taking in? Biden increased spending and we have to roll it back. We don't really have a choice if we want to stay solvent.
The spending all too often being theft.
Trump ran on Musk running DOGE and cutting waste out of the Government. Elections have consequences. The people elected Trump. Stop whining.
