(a synopsis to which you have permission to copy and paste without attribution BTW, it's in their user policy). That he actually attributes the result to Grok is going the extra step to being open and honest. He doesn't have to.

No, it isn't 'reasoning' or anything like that, it just runs pre-programmed algorithms and language parsers, i.e. it's just a search engine with a lot of memory and speed, is all. There is no such thing as 'AI', it's just a marketing gimmick.
