This “fugitive” violated a misdemeanor probation. Not even an offense worth the authority’s time to bring her back. They don’t even refer to her as a fugitive. Absconder is the term

No charges for harboring have been filed against James as of October 19, 2025, but media and commentators have speculated on the issue.
