I really don't follow college football that much, but now that the Buckeyes are done, I have
to go along with seeing Indiana win it all. Keep the champions up NORTH. We won the Civil
War, now lets continue to win the football championships. 🏈
We'll be back....Marvin Harrison Jr. posted this: "You won’t find tears in Columbus. You won’t find fear in Columbus. If you want excuses, you can look somewhere else. The year was not perfect, and this is far from the result that the Buckeyes wanted, but the result does not define the soul of this team and this community. Remember last year when they wrote off Ohio State for just one loss? Remember how every single game in the toughest playoff run in history, they were doubted? Well this is no different. Because what defines the Buckeyes is the rise from the ashes, the scars and lessons you learn from the clashes. There are a lot of chapters left to be written in the law of Ohio State football, and today is far from the last one." We always Have plenty to celebrate....;)FB_IMG_1764450004892.jpg

I know! The wheels started coming off Hurricanes D right at the end of the 1st half. Let's see if they can pull it back together!
The didn’t. My stomach dropped when I heard Dey was calling the plays instead of Hartline. This has not boded well for the Buckeyes. The Canes did what I really expected. They constantly pressure Sayin with Blitzes and Sayin was unable to pick the blitzes up and complete passes to open receivers.

Which is exactly how you attack a rookie QB. I was also impressed with two of Miami’s DL’s. Those two will be playing on Sundays. They made our O-line look bad.

Congrats to Miami for an excellent game plan and execution.

Bye bye Alabama!!!!! HECK YES!! Now I don't care who wins. As long as it wasn't THEEEEEE Ohio State or an Alabama team that didn't even do good enough to deserve to be there to begin with.

Nah. Because you essentially get an auto bid into the playoffs every single year, even when you have an "off year" and don't deserve it, simply because your name is Alabama.

And why do they do that? Because we are an obscure team that never wins, especially as an underdog?

Or because we have won more championships than some conferences? Wewill usually bring a good game and tens of thousands of fans ready to spend money.

This year we showed what we had against the #1 team. It was sad.

The selection for bowl games has always been subjective. If there are better teams being left out, change the system.
It's already been changed.
But don't get mad at the teams who play it.
The problem isn't Alabama itself. They are what they are. The problem is the selection committee who purposely puts an undeserving Alabama team into the playoff (over teams that happened to perform better this particular season) simply because of Alabama's fabled history and draw. Who gives a fuck about their history... If they didn't do good enough THIS year, then they shouldn't be in THIS year. Period. They got completely blown out in their conference championship game and then they got completely blown out again against Indiana. Clearly they weren't "up to snuff" this year, and that was already evident earlier in the year, but especially after the conference champ blowout.

And just think, Miami, who now knocked out Ohio State, was very close to not even getting a playoff spot all because the committee was so insistent upon putting a poor man's Alabama team in there all because "OMGz they're Alabama".

Notre Dame got screwed out of a playoff spot. I'm not a Notre Dame fan either, and I think that they are typically overrated, BUT they got screwed this year. They should've been in and Alabama should've been out.

Right now, I'm rooting for Indiana. Mendoza seems like a good natured kid with a good head on his shoulders, and it's truly impressive what Cignetti has accomplished in such a short time. Any of the other remaining teams aren't bad either.

I'll admit that I didn't expect Oregon to get quite this far.

I knew that Indiana and Miami both had it in them, but Oregon and Ole Miss surprised me. While I'm personally pulling for Indiana, I'm okay with any of these four taking it all.

I was extremely impressed with Chambliss. That guy throws missiles.

It's gonna be Indiana v. Oregon for the championship. I'm going to stick to my guns and say Oregon by 6.5.
