A bathroom sticker campaign

You appear to be smart enough to realize that neither the POTUS nor the VP have anything to do with the price of gasoline, which is derived from a global market commodity -- crude. But you seem to be fine, like #TRE45ON, with exploiting the ignorance of MAGATs.
Or I appear to note that "stickers campaigns" are happening on both sides regardless and that those sticker campaigns may actually change a vote or two. The "lie to your husband, it'll be okay" sticker campaign and the "Boy these prices are high" which I mentioned were on gas pumps, but are also found in grocery and other types of stores. None of this changes the reality of inflation, and the fact that way too many folks have not had raises that kept up with inflation. I believe that one of the sticker campaigns will be more effective than the other.

Inflation is 2.4%. The EU is the same. The world is recovering from the pandemic and the subsequent supply shortages. Some still have problems. Russia is 9.1% but China reports 0.6%. Japan is 3%.

Do you support raising the minimum wage? Mandating pay by private companies?

Which doesn't change what happened to prices when it was high. I get that you want it to mean something, but until wages reflect the change folks will continue to feel the bite from the 19% increase in CPI (Consumer Price Index). The sticker campaign will continue to be effective until their paychecks reflect the change as well.

Not sure if you are old enough to remember the 70s, but we've been through this before. No doubt you remember the banking and housing crises. Note that inflation was over 4% but then, when Obama was in office, several acts were passed to keep the economy afloat:

This second link is the CPI by year: https://www.usinflationcalculator.c...and-annual-percent-changes-from-1913-to-2008/

The COVID pandemic didn't just happen to the US, Damo. It was a global problem which isn't good for a global economy. This is the global CPI: https://data.worldbank.org/indicator/FP.CPI.TOTL.ZG

It still doesn't change how people feel, DU... Seriously. None of this changes the reality of 19% increase in CPI with most of the folks not getting an increase in pay... This is the reality, and why it is likely that Trump will be the 47th President of these United States. Whether anyone really thinks it is the fault of the President (inflation almost always is the fault of the government it is a monetary thing too many dollars chasing too few goods, you must alter your brain to believe it is not... ignoring the staggering money giveaways that increased the money supply without increasing the actual goods...)

Anyway, it is why one of the sticker campaigns will be more effective than the other. Folks already know they can lie to their husbands, they also know how it feels to be able to afford less than before.

How people feel depends upon their education and intelligence. I don't understand what you are trying to say here, Damo. Yes, times have been rough since COVID but it's returning to normal. Like previous times of inflation, the wages will catch up and stabilize.

The bad news is that the Republican Party is anti-labor/pro-management. Over the past 40 years they've destroyed or weakened unions in the US.

FWIW, I'm a numbers guy, not a "feelings" guy. I understand some people let their emotions rule their head, but I believe education will help alleviate that.

So you chant the stuff Democrats tell you to chant because you are 'educated'???????? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I don't understand what you are trying to say here, Damo.
So you are admitting you are clueless.
Yes, times have been rough since COVID but it's returning to normal.
The Covid Hoax was started by DEMOCRATS, causing the current economic depression.
Like previous times of inflation, the wages will catch up and stabilize.
I guess you don't get how many people were thrown out of work due to DESTROYED businesses during the Covid Hoax, or the businesses failing now due to the ongoing depression.

No union has been destroyed or weakened, Sybil.

No doubt.

In my experience, American males can be grouped into three categories: Those who seek to dominate their partners, those who seek their partners as equal albeit different (Yin-Yang) and those who are dominated by their partners.

The last group is the smallest. Among MAGAts, the first group is the largest. Among moderates and Left leaners, the middle group is the largest.
MAGA isn't a person, Sybil. You don't get to speak for everyone. Omniscience fallacy.

It's hilarious you think the vice president has any effect on gas prices. Even the president doesn't have much impact on prices unless they executive order legislation. As long as I've been alive I can't really recall anyone doing anything to hurt, help, or control prices. We are a capitalist society.
Trying to pretend Biden's executive order doesn't exist, again?? It's public record, dumbass.
