CEOs are bragging about 'strength of pricing', and how they will keep profits at an all time high as long as the consumer doesn't scream. There are not supply chain issues anymore. Don't get me wrong...I'm loving my dividends as much as the next guy. Just don't place blame where it doesn't belong.

Or I appear to note that "stickers campaigns" are happening on both sides regardless and that those sticker campaigns may actually change a vote or two. The "lie to your husband, it'll be okay" sticker campaign and the "Boy these prices are high" which I mentioned were on gas pumps, but are also found in grocery and other types of stores. None of this changes the reality of inflation, and the fact that way too many folks have not had raises that kept up with inflation. I believe that one of the sticker campaigns will be more effective than the other.

When he was in office he did shit for the US oil drillers and producers when the Saudis dropped the price so low over 100 US oil drilling and producing companies went bankrupt ,and scraped or sold off most of their drilling rigs , then he FINALLY stepped in and told the Saudis to cut their production and RAISE their prices or he was going to STOP their military aid and they did.
and Now the US oil producers are producing at record levels and have been for over a year now and have almost every drilling rig in use now.
Trump will have to wait for them to build more if he is going to " drill baby drill " because HE fucked up.
Oil producers ONLY hit a record high of just over 13 MBPD in one month when he was in and now have been producing at rates over 13 MBPD since Aug 2023.

The Keystone XL was only 8% complete and was to deliver Tar sand oil to the Gulf refinery to be diluted and put on boats and shipped to China.
It wasn't going to be used here for gas , Tar sand oil is used to make plastic.
But the low IQ MAGA believed what they were told that it was in use but it never delivered a drop of oil.
I believe they have it mixed up with the KEYSTONE pipeline that has NEVER been shut down by the Government , It only has been shut down for leaks ( a LOT of them ) and for maintenance.
