A Congressional Gold Medal for NYC Subway Hero Daniel Penny? Make It So!

All there was to say about Perry was said in the first OP, where the thread ended and was followed by the usual dope addled 'controversies' over nothing.

It sure seems like people prefer to talk about other posters instead of politics. There's no doubt that I contribute to the nonsense, too so my hands aren't clean, either.

Oh, cool. I could not give one less fuck. Since that brain dead twat, @TOP, mentioned them I felt the need to call her and you stupid fucking rejects. Send your next reply to the bin, dumb fuck.
Somehow, I think you have some serious flaws when it comes to jumping on the bandwagon of others.
You haven't what it takes to stand on your own, so you have to suck up to the pussy posse. That's funny,
not to mention infantile. I'm sending this reply to you, buttfuck :ROFLMAO:

Absolutely. But he's white, which is supposed to be a crime according to Democrats.
Well that's true... They mentioned that many many times here if you've been following the thread.... They refuse to actually discuss the facts and circumstances that led up to this tragedy.... Race has nothing to do with it....

I think he did what many men might think is right.

I also wonder if he'd risk defending women and kids again, after what he's been put through.

It strikes me as mighty odd that DA Bragg didn't pursue Jordan Williams, who stabbed another passenger to death, but wasn't brought to trial.

Follow the story of Jordan Neely...He was failed by the system and his family...or he would not have been on the subway that day...
It is a tragedy in so many ways...the lesson here is to improve the system so that these incidents...which others claim to be "just part of daily life in NYC"...(and that is unacceptable)....don't happen...

Well, very often, the truth is just the truth... For example ...I am a retired teacher... They know that... They have proof... They've had proof for years, as a matter of fact... It's not a topic that's up for discussion... or denial.... It is what it is....

Good, but mostly I'm seeing a lot of bitching about Penny and very little about helping people like Neely.
We can have empathy for the mentally ill, but at some point their rights do not supercede the rights of everyone else. Neely has a criminal record of 42 arrests, including larceny, theft, and four unprovoked assaults on women. By all accounts he refused to stick with treatment and medication. I have been sucker punched by a schizophrenic who was unmedicated and deliberately avoided treatment. Schizophrenics who have a long criminal rap sheet of larceny, theft, and assault, and also have demonstrated that they will refuse voluntary treatment and medication need to be committed to a psychiatric facility to manage their care.
