A Congressional Gold Medal for NYC Subway Hero Daniel Penny? Make It So!

Some little faggot who probably pisses his pants when those crazy bums come within 30 feet of him.

:dunno:

He is on record saying this: "I will often suck a cock and eat a pussy in the same go."

The more relevant issue is that he doesn't seem to want to assault this man:

Jordan Williams stabbed Devictor Ouedraogo to death on a Brooklyn J train around the same timeframe as Daniel Perry did, and for the same reason.

Well, very often, the truth is just the truth... For example ...I am a retired teacher... They know that... They have proof... They've had proof for years, as a matter of fact... It's not a topic that's up for discussion... or denial.... It is what it is....
For example ...I am a retired teacher...

I never understood why the psychiatric asylums got closed down. Surely some of them were inhumane, and the courts have the power to define the rights of the mentally ill. But surely we cannot say there is just no need for modern and more humane psychiatric facilities?

Even "liberal" California passed a law last year mandating that the severely mentally ill who meet certain criteria be taken off the streets against their will to be committed for treatment.

It's a very complex problem, not to be solved by some bloodthirsty political forum posters who think that "we need to do something" but have no solutions themselves. You know that they won't want higher taxes to implement what needs to be done. Thanks to Reagan, we've traded residential facilities for the mentally ill for jails and prisons. Are those places more humane than the former "asylums"?

If anything cases like this are an indictment of America's systematic disassembly of the mental health care instittutions starting in the 60's and finally completed under Reagan.

The mental institutions were often horrible so something was needed to change, and the ORIGINAL plan was to replace these with community centers, but Americans didn't really want to pay for that second bit. Once the institutions were shuttered and the community centers never materialized we flooded the streets with people who desperately need help but are unable to take care of themselves.

We somehow ALWAYS fail those in need in this country.

All true, thank you. It is disgusting to me that certain concern trolls on this thread blame Neely's family for "not doing something," the implication being that they should have forced him to live with them whether he wanted to or not. The glee over his killing shows that the right wing has zero empathy, compassion, understanding of, or caring for either the mentally ill or their loved ones. I cannot imagine a single one of them agreeing that perhaps we should raise taxes to build and staff residential treatment facilities for the mentally ill homeless population. Do you think one of them would even consider hiring -- or working with or living by -- a person who successfully finished treatment? I don't either.

Who comprises the pussy posse? What gave you the impression that I need these unnamed people to call you and @TOP comically fucking stupid?
The "pussy posse"is anyone who despises and/or mocks Toxic. It includes everyone who posts regularly on the so-called "Nice Thread," and almost everyone who used to be on the old Amazon forum where Toxic and RB are from. RB is part of Toxic's ever-dwindling stable of gelded defenders known as the GossipGrrls.

I don't even know what this says. Misspellings, disastrous grammar, thousands of periods for no reason. Bitch is fucking dumb. And claims she used to be an educator. 😂

I also liked the way that this "isn't about racism," yet she keeps trying to drag BLM, which she hates with the heat of 10,000 suns, into the "adult discussion."

I've noticed that we adults managed to have quite an interesting and intelligent discussion about this incident and mental health. All without the dumb bitch jumping up and down screeching "LOOK AT MEEEE!!!" lol

It's now worse than that with privatized prisons where corporations are making money by limiting treatment and humane conditions through efficiency and benefit when the prisons are full, not empty. Ergo, it's to their benefit to have lobbyists and politicians advocating changes that create more profit.

Better mental health care in prisons or, worse for them, actual mental health hospitals what would remove a large portion of their clientele is not in the corporation's best interests.

A point that goes back to a lack of legislation that would allow an adult relative the ability to legally force help upon someone who has been found criminally mentally ill or self-harming. That gets into Constitutional rights issues and must include both oversight to prevent abuse and a common sense ability to have rights restored.

FWIW, the definitions of what is or isn't mentally ill would have to be legally defined a lot better than it does now. The current law is about "does the person have the ability to choose"* where it should place more emphasis on "is this person hurting themselves?" Drug addiction, living on the streets, getting into fights, attacking people, attempting suicide, etc, are all examples of a person hurting themselves. Some, obviously have collateral damage in physically causing harm to others.

*I'm not a lawyer, but that's the essence.

So why didn't you help him? Of course, Democrats are never supposed to actually do anything, just snivel and get others to pay for all the crap they want free.. It was Democrats who dumped them on the streets in the first place. See Ted Kennedy's career history for how that happened.

Your hatred is interesting, Ms. Edwina. Did you grow up hating Democrats? Did your daddy beat up anyone, including your mother, if they leaned leftward?
