It's an interesting development and I'm not so sure it's completely out of Republican foolishness. I can see where some true conservatives would push this issue to an inevitable end rather than have it continually dragged out in the news.

I haven't been saying this shit for months and I didn't say it now - the 'Chair' of the Texas GOP said it.

But after the way so many Republicans have been behaving lately, I'm beginning to wonder.

There are still patriotic and principled Republicans, but they're a dwindling band.

Huh? 'Liberals' launched dozens of lawsuits in November 2016, alleging widespread fraud without evidence and trying to overturn Triump's win by legal chicanery?

I must have missed that. I thought Hillary conceded the day after the election, and Obama cooperated fully in the transition.

If it's the 'Russia hoax' you're referring to, the main players in that - Comey and Mueller - were Republicans. I don't know if they still are, after what they've seen.

Trump will never spend a day in jail unless he's visiting Donnie Jr. or Ivanka. The best you can hope for is that Trump has a debilitating stroke paralyzing him from the nose down and he spends the next 10 years watching Melania bang a slew of suitors in bed right next to him trying to give him another stroke, aneurysm or heart attack.

As for Legion, he has his mirror to look upon.

Agreed. Most Americans have never been trained in such things....and I'm including the Bozo Bois running around Yankee woods with paintball guns wearing surplus military clothing.

Mature adults understand the consequences of their actions. A sane person doesn't throw their life away for simple revenge, for a few dollars or for minor political differences. OTOH, as I pointed out to some of these Bozo Bois on JPP, overthrowing our Republic and our Constitution and imposing a dictatorship would most certainly be worth taking out anyone who supported such an action even if it meant giving up one's own life in the process.

Fortunately, I think the United States of America, despite all the noise making from some quarters, is robust and resilient enough to stand against a few idiots, even if one of those idiots is POTUS himself.
