A Rigorous Scientific Look Into The 'Fox News Effect'

My fallacy being that there is no correlation between the number of Americans who watch Fox News, believe their bullshit AND cause this country great harm with it? We see it every day. As I said, just turn the channel on and watch it for as long as you can tolerate it.

Inversion fallacy.

What a stupid-ass OP.

All news comes from either AP or Reuter's and the networks ALL take all the same articles and put their little spins on them.

CBS, C-SPAN, and ABC are the "best", and then "FOX", and then NBC, CNN, MSNBC...etc..

Not quite all, but you are basically correct.
Local news stories are generated by the local station or news agency (putting their little spin on it), and then fed to AP and/or Reuter's.

Yeah, you are correct, TA...that's the reason the poll showed that FOX viewers are less informed about current events than people who don't follow the news at all. That plus the fact that the people who watch FOX are American conservatives...and American conservatives are fucking morons.

FOX derangement syndrome (FDS).

Hello guno,

One of the biggest misconceptions of Fox viewers (besides The Big Lie) is that the mainstream news is 'fake.'

It is remarkable that Fox viewers are so gullible to fall for such lies. Lies are all the right has to captivate followers.

I bet a majority of them think there really is a 'deep state,' and that Democrats are so devious they would knowingly falsely impeach Trump - twice.

Facts don't stand a chance with that crowd when those facts have to surmount their hatred of liberals.

They used to carry on about how Putin wasn't so bad. Huh! We don't hear much of that anymore.

But of course, that shocker was really only because Trump was so soft on Russia.

If Trump told them something they would believe it, even if Trump had previously told them the opposite.

Trump told thousands of them to attack the Capitol, so they blindly did it.

It was the culmination of government hatred.

The right: Emotion heavy, fact light. Powered by rumor.

You can't make the evidence of election fraud by Democrats go away by blaming FOX, dude.

And when are Republicans going to get serious about presenting that evidence in court? I mean they can bleat about forever but that doesn't mean much. Eventually even the sheep will stop believing them.

They have no evidence

They need to drag democracy down the hall and drown it in the bathtub first

Then they will invent “the facts” they need

Oh and BTW

That poly is a cracker

Crooked Putin in some stove in Siberia

A real insane waste of time

The question, as asked, allowed multiple answers. How did the pollsters determine watching Fox would give the result they got if persons answered "yes" to multiple sources?

Check what they were saying. They could have watched a thousand sources...but THEY DID WATCH FOX. And the result shows that people who watch FOX...score worse than people who didn't follow the news at all, TA.

That is confusing correlation with cause. You can't be sure one caused the other because of the multiple sources.

The reason you and other MAGA-its love Fox News is because it confirms your predetermined hate bias 24/7. Sucks to be you.

Zero for three, by the way, bitch.

Yeah. The talking heads spew white supremacist bullshit 24/7, starting with their "Satanic Three" morning show where they all sit on the couch and stare into the cameral while fat donny spews lies for an hour.

And when are Republicans going to get serious about presenting that evidence in court? I mean they can bleat about forever but that doesn't mean much. Eventually even the sheep will stop believing them.

They can't present it in court because they don't have enough evidence to get a court to accept their cases.
