A trial without witnesses is unconstitutional.

The Senate's job is to try the case brought before them from the House which includes THEIR witnesses. It's not the
Senate's fault if the House sucked at THEIR job. :cool:

Grok is a bit upset, but the reality is that no witnesses were allowed in the trial. There were witnesses in the investigation before the trial, but this is going to be a witness free trial.

Best evidence requires a witness to testify in the trial where he can be cross examined. If trump were innocent, that is what he would want.
