Monopolies are naturally unstable. It isn't long before some startup comes along and shoots their kneecaps off with a better or cheaper (or BOTH!) product. Monopolies can ONLY continue to exist with government help (fascism or communism).

EVERY company must compete. EVERY company MUST serve it's customers or go out of business. Running a company is in and of itself service to others. NO company lasts long without customers!

It's hard to believe anybody who says stuff like he does has any real business experience or ever filled out a tax return. They just think it makes them sound all 'self-made n stuff' on the innernetz. They never get why Red Chinese Cadre gets along so great with the big multi-nationals; they're all the same people when it comes to shitting on the little people. I guess they think Bill Gates or Warren Buffet is going to see their crazy posts and adopt them or something and make them their favorite ass kisser and write them big checks.

A monopoly can only continue to exist with government help. Left to the free market, monopolies are unstable. It isn't long before some startup comes along with a better or cheaper (or both!) product.

Examples:
The IBM monopoly broken first by CDC, then by the personal computer.
The RCA monopoly broken by solid state electronics.
The News Media monopoly broken by the Internet.
The Microsoft monopoly broken by Apple and Linux.
The Cloud monopoly broken by Microsoft and various startups.
