Trump's balls exist, but are like a non-functional musket in the Smithsonian: for display only.

This is the fundamental question about Trump: "Is Trump a liar or just delusional?" I've long thought he was delusional. He actually believes most of the shit coming out of his mouth and Twitter feed. Yes, even when it changes daily. That's what delusional people do; believe whatever whimsy enters their brains. They can't help it.

In Trump's case, I think the Republicans have been nursing a mentally unfit President for far too long. I do understand the realities of the Election, both the WH and, IMO, more importantly, in Congress. I think 2021 may bring some changes the structure of the US government. Good changes.

The president declares war on COVID-19 and claims he is a wartime president. A leader would have a plan and communicate that plan to his citizens. The president stands at the podium day after day, telling us that it’s former President Barack Obama’s fault. No, it’s China’s fault. No, it’s the World Health Organization’s fault. No, sadly, it is the president’s fault. He is only worried about one thing: himself.

Now, we have over 500,000 sick and 22,000 dead, that we know of, in a month. He only cares about the economy and his reelection, not us. We are at war and the president has given aid and comfort to the enemy.

Sounds like treason to me.

Still, protesting isn't terrorism. If a person knowingly infects another, that could be considered terrorism. If they accidentally do it because they believed their President that this is a fake virus, no worse than the flu and just following his orders to liberate their state, then that's not terrorism.

LWers weren't protesting during a pandemic and violating stay-at-home orders. Totally different things, totally different times. No one would have cared or paid much attention if these assholes had just stayed in their vehicles and gridlocked everything like the original plan (In Lansing anyways that was the plan). But no, they had to get out and wave their Rebel flags around and act like pissy fools.

I heard yesterday that one of them tested positive but haven't been able to confirm that at all. Probably just a rumor. For now.

TBH, I haven't done or seen a correlation between how Left or Right the states were with the protests and the actual levels of severity the lockdown was. Not every city has all the same problems. Something worth examining.

Regardless, I have faith our system of government will allow a good middle-ground solution over the next six months.
