No damage? Remind us again just who won the 2016 presidential election. A reality TV personality. LMAO What? Are we to believe that it was not her baggage that cost her the election and the fact she called middle American's deplorable...it was the Russians? Priceless. She is done...put a fork in her she will never be a viable candidate again.

Sounds reasonable to me. Wouldn't it be a strange twist if the 1st indictment when to someone other than Flynn or Manafort? Somebody out there flying under everybody's radar?

you're assuming he has some proof of collusion to offer up in exchange.
I don't think that exists. So what could he offer up otherwise?

"It's a crap shoot" who gets it. Being a Special Council means Mueller can go wherever/whomever he wants
 
Mr. Manafort has been the focus of an investigation examining whether he violated tax laws or engaged in illicit financial transactions. In July, FBI agents working with Mr. Mueller raided a home of Mr. Manafort’s to obtain documents and other material tied to foreign bank accounts and tax matters.

Mr. Manafort’s spokesman, Jason Maloni, has said in the past that Mr. Manafort didn’t collude with the Russian government to help Moscow interfere in the 2016 election.
 
They are reporting that Manafort is currently charged with tax related issues, and the timing is based on a statute of limitations. They have other charged but are taking their time to work on other issues because there are no statute of limitations issues imminent on the other issues.
