Trump was a lifetime Dem. He was at Bill and Hillary's wedding. He was pro choice too, for obvious reasons. He was cranking out abortions for the women he attacked or had sex with.
When he decided to run, he chose Repub because he could see they were a far easier party to take over. They are already well used to accepting propaganda that would harm them. They vote against their own interests easily and predictably. They were ripe for the picking. He was shocked at how easy it was to fool them. Remember when he realized it? he said " I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and not lose any votes'. You are one of them he was talking about.
