How do NBA players produce wealth? They seem to produce wealth.
Entertainment, gambling, and a bunch of people have decided they are worth it.How do NBA players produce wealth?
Expensive? Certainly, if a compelling case can be made that their removal might have significantly reduced both damages and deaths, people will likely weigh the cost of action against the cost of inaction. Yes, I'm Monday morning quarterbacking. However, if it turns out that legitimate concerns were raised and subsequently ignored, there will be consequences. If not, at the very least, the cost and threat will be re-evaluated and addressed appropriately. Only time will tell in my opinion. They burn very hot, and are certainly part of the problem....Bret and Heather were just yesterday talking about these trees....one of the things they said is that they are difficult to kill.....removal would be expensive.
TRUE THATThere are many varieties of tumbleweed, including native species across the deserts of the Southwest and on into Texas. The Russian Thistle is an invasive species, but it's only just another tumbleweed.
Tumbleweeds aren't really a problem until they find a fence near a road. They pile up there in great bunches. If a fire hits them, they rise into the air and carry the fire across the road.
Oh...and the seeds still survive, to reclaim the burned area with new tumbleweeds.
Fires always occur in deserts. There is dry stuff to burn, and lightning storms that start fires. Sometimes all it takes is a dewdrop to start a fire.
That's not where the arsonists live.
Democrats prohibited removing dry brush, so...it burns. Arsonists start these fires in the name of the Church of Global Warming to 'prove' how dangerous 'climate change' really is.
(Climate cannot change...the phrase is just another attempt to rename the Church of Global Warming)
Probably has something to do with the over 10 thousand buildings and homes gone, along with at least 25 dead. Maybe, not sure.Notice Texas? Why hasn't MAGAts called for his resignation?
That may be true, but I remember when they were, and humorously there were many found in industrial parks and in one case inside a Walmart sign. It of course, didn't do much to make the case for the tree huggers. I got a kick out it then, but as time moves on what was funny about tree huggers becomes tragic. The spotted owl is not endangered. They have a wide range in forests across the United States. They prefer taller trees near a meadow, where they can hunt for the mice they eat.
They don't like old growth forests. No food there for them.
Contextomy fallacy. Compositional error fallacy. Not all pine trees are Australian Pine.Australian Pines (Casuarina equisetifolia), also known as ironwood or she-oak, are considered invasive species in many parts of the world, including Florida in the United States, for several reasons:
- Rapid Growth and Spread: They grow quickly and can outcompete native vegetation for resources like sunlight, water, and nutrients. Their dense root systems and rapid growth rate allow them to dominate areas, reducing biodiversity by overshadowing and outcompeting other plant species.
- Allelopathy: Australian Pines produce chemicals that can inhibit the growth of other plants around them. This allelopathic effect can further reduce native plant diversity by altering soil conditions or directly affecting other plants' growth.
- Seed Dispersal: They produce a large number of seeds which are easily dispersed by wind and water. In areas like coastal Florida, seeds can be carried by ocean currents to new areas, expanding their range.
- Soil Changes: They can alter soil composition, making it less suitable for native species. Their root systems can change soil structure, and their leaf litter can change soil pH and nutrient availability, which might not favor local flora.
- Lack of Natural Predators: In regions where they are not native, Australian Pines often face fewer natural controls like pests or diseases that would keep their populations in check in their native Australia. This allows them to grow unchecked.
- Impact on Wildlife: While they do provide some habitat, the overall impact on local wildlife can be negative. They can degrade habitats for native animals by changing the structure and composition of ecosystems, reducing food sources for native species, and altering nesting sites for birds.
- Hurricane Vulnerability: In coastal areas, Australian Pines can exacerbate erosion as their shallow root systems are not as effective at stabilizing soil during hurricanes and storms compared to native vegetation. This can lead to increased property damage and environmental degradation.
These characteristics make Australian Pines problematic in ecosystems where they are not native, leading to their classification as an invasive species in various regions. Efforts to manage or eradicate them are often undertaken to restore native ecosystems and biodiversity.
@Grok
It was caused by Democrats. They don't care about the useful idiots that serve them.I don't know this was caused by the elite. Many celebs lost homes too.

An effort to finally dry out Florida? Maybe just that creepy swamp called the Everglades? In Florida they made a mistake to plant them in the Everglades..... they suck up a tremendous amount of water.
I guess you haven't been paying attention to moonbat, who is insisting that eucalyptus trees spontaneously explode and burn.Nobody says the trees CAUSED the fires. But they are a contributing factor.
You don't give a damn about her or her earrings.I did feel sorry for the woman sifting through the ashes of her home for her diamond earrings. Seriously. That must hurt.
I still dont know what the hills that burned in the first hours of the Palisades fire looked like....nobody in Regime or Alt media seems to be interested.Expensive? Yeah agreed, the details everyone wants to know are often the last revealed. That usually indicates the answers are not helpful for the leaders re-election bids.I still dont know what the hills that burned in the first hours of the Palisades fire looked like....nobody in Regime or Alt media seems to be interested.
Ya Southern Ca is dry....ya the last two years overall have been wet thus there was a lot of fuel on the hills....ya the FD took at least 45 minutes to come take a look after the calls came in....but still how did this blow up so fast and so hard that the FD could not stop it even with their well known problems?Yeah agreed, the details everyone wants to know are often the last revealed. Well there ya go, answers are needed and very much wanted. That said, I'm very skeptical answers will be forthcoming to say the least and that's just sad.Ya Southern Ca is dry....ya the last two years overall have been wet thus there was a lot of fuel on the hills....ya the FD took at least 45 minutes to come take a look after the calls came in....but still how did this blow up so fast and so hard that the FD could not stop it even with their well known problems?
We need answers.....if there were very many eucalyptus trees thus making the fire burn hot that might be part of what happened.
But I dont know....I have seen pics of the exact site the fire started....likely was set because fires have been set there before and most reports say that there were no powerlines there.....but I dont know what the hills overall looked like.
Drain the swamp. An effort to finally dry out Florida? Maybe just that creepy swamp called the Everglades?
Says the forum fool ^You don't give a damn about her or her earrings.
