Are Mormons Christian?

They do not believe in Jesus. Unless you can tell me where the Bible says Jesus is the spirit brother of Lucifer. Can you?

Jesus and Lucifer are both spiritual brothers of us in Mormonism, each of the priests can and will reach the same lofty position that they both held once they reach the Celestial Heaven... they are true bothers with the same father in the lexicon of the LDS church.

LUCIFER - JewishEncyclopedia.com

The Lucifer myth was transferred to Satan in the pre-Christian century, as may be learned from Vita Adæ et Evæ (12) and Slavonic Enoch (xxix. 4, xxxi. 4), where Satan-Sataniel (Samael?) is described as having been one of the archangels.

There is no 'Lucifer' in Hebrew or Judaism at all. The 'name' is an artefact resulting from translating through several languages and cultures. The Hebrew at that point is 'hellel ben shakhar', ('shining [one], son of morning').

It depends on the denomination. There are denominations which trace their heritage to the early church, via the Catholic church, then took their own identity in the reformation era. They tend to have a more structured theology and liturgical heritage. The Nicene Creed is part of that heritage. The Lutheran and Episcopal churches and their offspring (United Methodist, Reformed Church, etc).

The more fundamental protestant groups, esp. the non-denominational churches and the evangelical groups are less likely. It depends entirely on how they came to be established and what they take from previous church history as part of their heritage. A number of these groups do not have a formal theology per se. They are less likely to accept the Nicene Creed (partly because of its Roman heritage.) It just depends.

seems so far the consensus is that in order to be a true Christian you need to believe in Jesus Christ as your savior, believe in a 6000 year creation like the young earthers, believe in pre-mill like the baptists, believe in the Pope like the Catholics AND meet the expectations of the Buddhists.........

I know. And if like to know where the Bible tells us that. I mean, other than the fictional novel written by charlatan, Joseph Smith.
