Are we actually "vaccinated?

Why cannot you comprehend that I do understand your OP, your premise? Let me break down your premise for you, shall we?

1. The covid shots do not make people immune or prevent infection
2. Therefore, the term "vaccine" is a phony claim
3. They are gaslighting us into believing that those shots do work and are vaccines
4. The reason for gaslighting is only known to you

No. 4 is a lie.

Definition of vaccine:

"a substance used to stimulate the production of antibodies and provide immunity against one or several diseases, prepared from the causative agent of a disease, its products, or a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease."

Is it a substance? Yes.
Does it stimulate the production of antibodies. Yes
No. Apparently it doesn't.
does it provide immunity against one or several diseases? Yes. The definition of immunity is "the ability of an organism to resist a particular infection or toxin by the action of specific antibodies or sensitized white blood cells." That is exactly what the vaccine does. It provides the immune system with the ability to resist Covid.
Is it prepared from the causative agent of a disease, it's products OR a synthetic substitute, treated to act as an antigen without inducing the disease? Yes. It uses a synthetic susbstitute.

Therefore it is a vaccine. Next?
Don't think so.

Vaccinated people get infected just as unvaccinated do.
Vaccinated people suffer the same symptoms that the unvaccinated do.
Vaccinated people suffer these symptoms for the same time the the unvaccinated do.

Let's deal with your gaslighting, Poopiehead.
There isn't any.
The flu shot is called a shot because it is given with a needle and a syringe. But the fact that it is called a shot doesn't prove it isn't a vaccine. In fact the term vaccine has always been used to classify the flu shot.

WRONG.You are ignoring polio vaccine, smallpox vaccine, etc. Neither polio nor smallpox is a variant of the influenza series.
But just in case you think they suddenly decided to call it a vaccine when it isn't one, here is an article from 2009 referring to it as the flu vaccine.
...deleted Holy Link...
It is a flu vaccine.
Then here is an article from 2000 referring to it as the influenza vaccine.
...deleted Holy Link...
It is a flu vaccine.
A scientific article
There is no such thing as a 'scientific article'. Science is not an article, magazine, book, paper, pamphlet, or web site.
from the 1990's referring to it as the influenza vaccine.
...deleted Holy Link...
There are several vaccines against some of the variants of the influenza series of viruses.
It seems the one attempting to gaslight is you, Poopiehead.
Inversion fallacy. You are describing yourself.
The influenza vaccine has never made people immune to the flu and has never been long lasting.
If a vaccine works, it works for the life of the individual. You will never suffer from the full effects of that particular variant of flu again. There are thousands of variants of the influenza series.
Anyone with their head in the real world would know that.
Define 'real'. Buzzword fallacy.
Unfortunately as your avatar shows, your head is not outside the cow's ass but instead it is quite firmly ensconced where it works best to retain your moniker of Poopiehead.
Insult fallacies.

RQAA. Insult fallacy.

Fallacy fallacy.

The fallacy fallacy occurs when a poster, almost always Into the Night, simply claims another post is using a fallacy without explaining why it is a fallacy. Posters such as Into the Night who do this usually do it to avoid the topic and are simply trying to appear more intelligent than they really are.
