Bernie wins New Hampshire!

I'll give you a really good example from my state of Georgia.

In 2014, Governor Nathan Deal was up for re-election to a second term. His challenger was Jason Carter, grandson of Jimmy Carter, and Jason Carter ran a "moderate centrist" campaign aimed at winning upper-class white voters in areas like Marietta, Cobb County, and Buckhead. His campaign was focused on accommodating those people while ignoring the growing progressive base and diverse coalition of voters. Jason Carter lost 53-44.

Fast forward 4 years, to 2018. Two Democrats led the primary field for governor, Stacey Abrams and Stacy Evans. Stacy Evans was the "centrist" candidate...she was also the white one. She received the backing of all the establishment folks. Stacey Abrams ran as the progressive, got endorsed by Bernie Sanders, and -had it not been for GOP cheating by purging voters and suppressing the vote- lost the governor race to Kemp by about 50,000 votes and less than a percentage point.

So what does that tell you?

I believe Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez is a perfect example of how folks are hell bent on radical change of representatives back to not so radical policies. The MSM and establishment politicians would have everyone believe that the status quo is the norm and way to go and to not rock the boat. I call bull shit! And every last one needs to be called out because they are culpable for the rise of the monstrosity squatting in The White House. Trump is a symptom of the disease that is killing the Democracy of the USA. The establishment Dems became a little too comfy cozy with lobbyists and they should pay for abandoning the Progressive roots of the party.

But you didn't explain why.

You tried to blame Bernie voters even though they're not to blame.

The people to blame are the people who voted for Trump.

Then, if you still want to blame people, you blame the 95 million who didn't vote. But doing that has to force you to ask the question; why did 95 million people not vote in 2016? The predominant reason would seem to be enthusiasm and excitement. Turnout in 2016 was 3% below turnout in 2008; why do you think that is?

Because republicans said Blacks didn't come out in the same numbers to vote for President Obama.........so clinton lost.

If Blacks had that much Power......Clinton wouldn't have been the nominee

Blacks had been voting for white men since they were able to vote.

this is the racist republican excuse to deter white americans from noticing republican cheating.

a few thousand Blacks DID NOT HAVE AN EFFECT ON DUMP WINNING ...........fucking liars.

:rofl2:

You are hilarious.

You should turn that shit into a comedy lounge act.

Let's start by defining a moderate...someone who is relatively clueless to the political climate of most of the populace due to the fact they limit their sources of information to the corporate owned MSM and have rolled over and accepted the trickle down BS that was sold to this country almost half a century ago by a guy who began the destruction of the middle class. Someone who is totally unaware that we would have no social safety nets or infrastructure if it were not for Progressive policies and who will watch them be stripped as they support the candidate who will not fight to maintain and improve upon the polices. And if they tell you they want a candidate who can work with Republicans, laugh in their faces.

Ding Ding Ding Ding............

You don't have to tell me..........I've know this for decades. Blacks have been trying to tell the dems but we are ignored and considered whining and playing victim.

There's a reason why Blacks don't vote republican why would we want a republican plant in the dem party?

You proggy ding-a-lings are going to hand Trump a second term.

Let's all just hope you coattail enough Democrats to create a solid blue congressional majority to reign him in tight and make his life a miserable hell.

How about you stop being a coward and vote republican........get the fuck out the way and we'll have enough dem to win.

I have explained that.

Butthurt Bernie-bots pouting over his primary loss threw a tantrum and stayed home.

Blacks who didn't vote because the candidate was a white woman.

So there were 95 million Bernie supporters who didn't vote because he wasn't the nominee? So if you make him the nominee, then those 95 million people will vote for him, right?

You know what I meant.

And you still can't back up your silly shit.

You've long ago become tiresome and monotonous.

No, I didn't know what you meant. You spoke about districts, but the people I listed were running for Senate.

I'll give you a good example of what I mean...this time on a state-level:

I live in Georgia, and in 2014, Governor Deal was running for re-election. The Democrats nominated Jason Carter, a white moderate, and he lost to Deal by 8 points because he tried to use his "moderation" to appeal to the white suburbanites in Marietta, Buckhead, and Cobb County.

Fast forward just four years, and in 2018 there were two leading Democrats for the governor nomination, Stacey Abrams and Stacy Evans. Stacy Evans was favored by the establishment because she was a moderate and centrist, while Abrams was favored by progressives and POC, and was endorsed by Bernie Sanders.

Abrams ended up winning the nomination in a landslide, and as she ran against Kemp, voter turnout in Georgia topped 70%. Had it not been for the vote suppression, Abrams would have won...she only lost by about 50,000 votes, about 1.5%. Carter lost by 200,000 four years earlier, and turnout was 50%.

So a progressive on the ballot narrowed the electoral win from 8% down to 1.5%, increased turnout by 20%, and narrowed the vote margin from 200,000 down to 50,000.

The progressive Bernie candidate LOST.

Ummm, but did she?

Had it not been for the voter suppression and the removal of 70,000 people from the rolls, Abrams probably would have won.

Kemp's margin of victory was 50,000 votes, or 1.5% @ 70% turnout.

Four years earlier, Jason Carter lost by 200,000 votes, or 8% @ 50% turnout.

Having Abrams on the ballot increased voter participation because her strategy was to turn out more voters instead of trying to woo the moderates.

She very nearly won. The margin she lost by was surpassed by the number of people removed from the voter rolls.

And he'd still suck as President, so I'm not voting for him under any circumstance.

I'll write in Biden before I'll vote for old BS.

Also, if Bernie is supposedly so electable, popular and exciting, WHY DID HE LOSE THE 2016 PRIMARY?

And don't tell me it's because he got cheated by Hillary and the DNC.

Hillary beat him fair and square in the south and west.

So again, if ol' BS is so unbeatable and moderates like Hillary can't win, why did he lose to her?
