trump did allow Putin make a chemical attack on a NATO country. Dawn Sturgess was killed in that chemical terrorist attack. Four people were injured in that chemical attack, including two British citizens, and two people who had applied for British citizenship, and now have it.
When 9/11 happened, Britain supported the USA. When Putin used chemical weapons against the UK, trump tried to pretend it did not happen.
That was the original reason we did not send them Patriot Missiles, but it appears that war will not be over in a few days... Given that it has stretched on for a year with no end in sight.
There is no evidence that Ukrainian collapse is imminent, and Putin has made no advances in over 6 months. Both the USA and more importantly Ukraine are willing to have a few hundred soldiers trained to operate Patriot Missiles for somewhere between 6 and 9 months. They are not going to be frontline troops, so it really does not hurt the war effort. If Ukraine does collapse in the next 6 months, I doubt those few hundred non frontline troops would have mattered.
