Reagan stabbed America in the heart with his do not trust or believe the government. The faith in the American government has been slowly bleeding ever since. It was not an accident. The Repubs had a plan and the followers made it work.
I know lots of politicians and they run to try and do good. But they are Dems. They respect the system. Since the Repubs do not care about the system and think it is all corrupt, you cannot expect them to do right. They really do not care since governance is impossible, but they can make money off it. They can provide what the donors ask for.
Biden is trying to show that governing by the people and for the people can still be done.

Agree with everything you said. Some think Trump was an anomaly, but he clearly was in the mold of Reagan.

The mine has been closed for 20 years, neither the feds nor the state nor the county ever did much of anything to deal with the problem. This is the sort of reason that people dont trust government anymore. Failure to perform, the constantly grabbing for power, and the constant lying all combine to serve as notice that trusting government this deeply into this Dark Age is a project for chumps.

An open ended executive order mandating masks could be "forever." Certainly Biden and other government talking heads are saying many more months, which could easily turn into years for them. Or, do you have some evidence to the contrary. Hell, Biden was saying you might, might, be able to meet in small groups at someone's home by July 4th if you observe social distancing and wear a mask. The guy, and those government functionaries are fucking total retards.
