Big Brother Gives Infraction For Believing Homosexuality Is Wrong

ChristIans pick and choose which of gods supposed laws they wish to enforce. Divorce is so common these days. Homosexuality will be as accepted in the future as divorce is now amongst faithful.

Ummm well how does that matter? The NASB is the most literally translated English version from the Greek. I also posted the translation from Aramaic.
 
The only defense the new age secularists have is that the scriptures have been altered and don't really mean what they say. Sowing seeds of doubt is all they have. On an intellectual basis, they can't cut it because they don't actually study the scriptures or the original text. All they have are some sites they copy from that explain away what the scriptures actually say. They are deceivers.

I should have said divorced and remarried. Just being divorced doesn't make you an adulterer, it is when you remarry that you become the adulterer!

I don't know why you groaned me bravo, too much truth in my statement? It is what scripture states and there are limited reasons why one may divorce and then when you divorce you aren't to remarry, otherwise, you become an adulterer, sorry, I didn't make the rules...I am just repeating my understanding of them!

And on the contrary...the original NT language was Greek. Aramaic was OT. I already addressed the issue.

Whichever language the New Testament was written in it was still written by man. Both it and the old testament are part of our culture and part of our language heritage. The language of both books of the bible provides an adventure and an insight into how man, at various stages of his development, thought.
The bible is no more the province of the Christian that the beautiful works of art we call cathedrals and the stirring music of Handel. But that is what it is. There is as much practical use in Aesops Fables, maybe even more. We have no proof that there ever was a man called Aesop but there is some circumstantial evidence. Similarly we have no certain proof that there was a Jesus nor have we proof of his pedigree. There is circumstantial evidence for the first but none at all for the second.
Faith is faith. Sometimes science might confirm the likelihood of a faith in something or some process (the Higgs Boson) and sometimes science might actually prove the existence of something or someone.
Despite the fact that most religions have played an important part in the development of man and therefore have been and still are of huge interest, no scientist has ever produced demonstrative evidence of the existence of any god or the relationship between any god and any man that exists outside the imagination of man.
Some would label me an atheist, but to sort of quote from Richard Dawkins, I am more a nontheist. I am also a non-tooth fairyist and a non flying teapot-ist.
Everyone here is either an atheist or a non-theist in as much that he refuses to believe in most of the gods created by man. They choose, instead, to believe in the god that has been forced upon them by western society through families, schools and culture. If people had the courage to see faith as a restrictant to progress we might begin to solve some of the world's problems.
Meanwhile, if one finds no acceptable alternative to a theistic faith then so be it. It certainly can be a great comfort and it is a great conversation stopper at parties.

Deadpan never works on a messageboard. Although it should be the place it works best. I personally think that kink is important to any long-term relationship so it doesn't get tired. The Song of Solomon should give that idea to any Christian and/or Jew...

Only if they remarry. A man can dismiss his wife, but if any other man marries her they are committing adultery. Unless, of course, the divorce is because of adultery.
