That's lovely for you. I stated it in general terms by using "one." However, to your point, yes, I clearly underestimated how sensitive you are, and if I'd cared to protect your delicate feelings, I could have gone out of my way to say "by 'one' I don't mean 'you.'" But, honestly, your feelings just aren't that important to me.
