Bill Maher strikes again!

I remember very well. He has always been bright and insightful. It was PI which prompted me to visit his message board back in the mid-90s. For the longest time, I thought WM Deez was a person's name and didn't get it until years later! Now that was a board which will NEVER be replicated.
It's futile to compare any other board to that one. Some really great minds there, and a lot of classic trolls too.

In the midst of a war that was literally started over a lie about WMD, NOT ONE person got my humor.

I mean...a last name DEEEZ?

Really ;)

Calling it the Wild West is understated. The clone wars were the best though.

:rofl2:

It was the W.M. which threw me w/the name. Mentally I pronounced the last name as Deetz and thought your name was probably William or something. lol

LOL. All these years later, EVERYONE says they thought I was William

You are ignoring the FACT that the child is looking to the elders for guidance and examples in how to act.
Elders should take that responsibility seriously. However, that should focus on how to act when it comes to stuff that matters: how to help the less fortunate, how to work hard, how to think creatively, how to be resilient in the face of setbacks, how to be kind and courteous, etc. If one's role modeling is more focused on stuff like "girls wear dresses and boys watch football," it's lousy guidance.

so the state should take over child rearing?

"you should feel guilty about being white and strongly consider chopping off your own dick" is also questionable guidance, some would argue.

To your first sentence: The vast majority do, which to a large degree is why you and I have a safe haven to screw around on these discussion boards, why you have a LOT of gay folk having the strength to stand up publicly. Your last sentence essentially misconstrues (purposely or incorrectly) what I previously wrote. You can't demonize everyone because they disagree with you in word or practice....that's what many of the anti-gay crowd do. The chronology of my posts are not conducive to your last sentence.

I think you're misreading my intent with that sentence. I used "one" instead of "you" purposefully, so it would be clear that was a general statement about people, not an accusation against you.

are you gonna teach children to be liars and dissemblers like you?

to have a go along to get along approach to evil?

changing quotes is against the rules here.

Awwww, did someone deprive the forum of your personal insult? What a tragedy! I put brackets around the alteration, so it was clear it wasn't the original language. If they want to ban me for cleaning up substance-free personal insults in a way that doesn't mislead anyone, they're free to do so.

Thank you. You say the sweetest things.

It's only substance free when you edit out the substance.

you're already proving your delusional and psychotic nature.

The bracketed language was not replacing anything that dealt with the substantive issues at hand. They were just throw-away personal slurs. It's hilarious to see you melting down this way because your little shit stains were washed away.
