Well, he has a tangential association with England in that his second wife was an English girl. In the late 1970s's Benjamin Netenyahu and his first wife were in the US. He was studying at MIT, while his wife was a student at Brandeis University. In 1978, Netenyahu met an English girl called Fleur Cate in the main library at Brandeis and began an affair with her. Netenyahu's wife discovered that he was having an affair and divorced him soon after. In 1981 Netenyahu married Cates, who converted to Judaism (I presume she was a member of the Church of England ?). Unfortunately the marriage broke down and the couple were divorced in 1984. Netenyahu then married a third time to a Jewish woman.

I mean, it's no big deal. When I was in my 30's I was a practising Anglican, but I met a hot -looking girl one night who told me that she was a Jew. I ended up having a 2-year relationship with her , but it was conditional on my wearing (24/7) a necklace with a silver Star of David symbol hung from it !

Now his days – from the moment he woke up to the time he went to bed – were managed to the point of inertia. No free time to nip out for IT refresher courses in Shoreditch.
