The EU is extremely corrupt. The leaders of the EU are nepotistic, that is they appoint each other. There is no democracy. It is also basically a German project. Germany was taking charge of many aspects of it and focussing on Germany. For example Germany advised on CO2 emissions from diesel engines for the EU and set them at a level no other manufacturer could meet. It was later found that German cars could not meet these levels either, all German and VW group diesel cars had software built into the engines to cheat tests.

The EU was, and still is, corruptly paying huge bribes to unstable and dangerous foreign leaders as "loans". It is under the heel of Turkey at this very moment and with no armed forces the EU must acquiesce to Erdogan's orders. This is an extremely worrying matter. The EU, Germany, France and all other countries except Britain have run down their armed forces. We, the British, will NOT allow them to sacrifice our people in any border disputes that do not concern us. In addition the EU says that America is an 'enemy' even though it is the backbone of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation.

The EU agricultural policy is a bribe to France and keeps the prices of farm goods artificially high. Worst of all, perhaps, is the almost total censorship that the EU is imposing on the news. Without honest news one is trapped inside a circle of deceit and lies. Here I must refer specifically to the utterly loathed Archchancellor Merkel of Germany, who is not even a member of the EU leadership, and the EU leadership itself.

Following the Casablanca agreement and Merkel's invitation to the world to live in Germany, an influx of mainly poorly educated and unskilled persons began arriving from North and South Africa. Some were indeed refugees, but others were not. Many were escaping jihadists others were simply criminal chancers.

Please remember also that at least 7,500 migrants drowned, including children, because neither the EU or Germany had safe systems in place to select or assist migrants and refugees in real need. In fact the figure for deaths is probably as high as 30,000 to 50,000 or more if one takes into account deaths on travel routes to the Mediterranean Sea, Africans forced into slavery or simply murdered for their cash. This was an international crime.

In addition on New Year's Eve in just one city in Germany, Cologne over 1,200 women were sexually assaulted or raped by migrants. This was a direct result of the EU and Germany failing to educate new arrivals into proper behaviour. In fact this behaviour happened all through Europe. Germany and the EU imposed a complete news blackout on this information, total censorship. It was two or three days before I heard about it through 'underground' sources, mainly Voice of Europe and other low key unofficial news services.

Journalists in Downing Street walk out after Johnson aide tries to exclude some reporters

Political journalists have boycotted a briefing at No 10 Downing Street after one of Boris Johnson’s aides banned selected reporters from attending.

The walkout took place after a confrontation inside No 10 in which Lee Cain, Johnson’s most senior communications adviser, tried to exclude reporters from the Mirror, i, HuffPost, PoliticsHome, Independent and others.

Reporters on the invited list were asked to stand on one side of a rug in the foyer of No 10, while those not allowed in were asked by security to stand on the other side.

After Cain told the banned journalists to leave, the rest of the journalists decided to walk out collectively rather than allow Downing Street to choose who scrutinises and reports on the government.

Among those who refused the briefing and walked out were the BBC’s Laura Kuenssberg, ITV’s Robert Peston and political journalists from Sky News, the Daily Mail, Telegraph, Sun, Financial Times and Guardian.

The briefing was due to be given by government officials, who are meant to be neutral rather than political, but it did not happen because of the walkout.

The tactics from No 10 mirror those of Donald Trump in the US, who has been known to try to exclude journalists from reporting on his activities, and represents an escalation of Johnson’s tensions with the media, which have been increasing in recent weeks.
