Can employers require vaccinations as a condition of returning to work?

Agreed, which is why medical or security issues should be decided by the experts, not Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson much less a politicians seeking to score points with his base.

Our [government] experts haven’t exactly had a stellar performance over the past year.

Thats the point I am making. I said: No employer should have the right to blackmail you by virtue of having a job. Some things are not permitted no matter what the employer thinks.

Where's the blackmail? Are you saying you have "right" to work at a certain company regardless of the rules, national medical emergencies, etc? Are you now going to say you have a right to a paycheck whether you work or not? Are you now a Democrat, cordeela?

With more and more Alt Right posters complaining that they do not want to do what employers want, I have to wonder if they have ever held a job for more than a day or two.

I agree , and have seen it some people are allergic to work I think .
I have met some people who are in their 40s and never worked more then a year or 2 . Mainly when they lost their kids and welfare or when the kids got old enough and they lost their welfare .
no that's not dutch s case hes just lazy and looking for a way to get out of work

 Lemme guess, your job is "Professional liar". How does that pay, Bob?

I can't imagine what kind of low life scum your relatives must be to have only worked a year or two by their 40s. Sad.

I would think a sign in front of a restaurant or shop saying "all our employees have been vaccinated" would help business. It would be good for business.

They performed better than the blowhard politicians. :)
not at all
Florida has had kids in schools since October -Fauci et all are still dithering.
we started with the over 65 crowd - we have a lot of seniors and they are high risk -
the CDC di not issue guidelines like these. DeSantis also protected nursing homes by restricting visitation
and not forcing +Covid test back into homes ( he set up separate COVID facilities for those).

Our economy is getting better all the time -we finally have rush hour traffic again

If you mean Blue states like NY and Ca and Wash. -then yes anyone performs better

I'm good with State's Rights. You only seem to be good with it when the State does what you want. Why is that?

From the fricking get-go, the DeSantis model was the way to go: targeted mitigation while balancing the economy against mitigation schemes but they ‘shut er down’ and now we have to pass multi-trillion dollar bailouts because of it.

It was an historical travesty that we’ll be paying for for generations.

it was outstanding leadership and it went against the grain of Fauci et all

I am going to back him for POTUS; as much as I love Trump he's got bagggage now that DeSantis doesnot,
and Desantis has a proven record of excellency

Do not know about other States, but in Texas a Right to Work State and employer can fire someone for no reason at all, without just cause they would have to pay unemployment benefits out of their State account but protecting their workers would be just cause so that is that. Get the vaccine everyone, eventualy you may have to do many things so do it and not risk catching the virus to prove a stupid point.

In Texas, Employers can fire you for any reason they want, and just call it a staff reduction.

RED STATE TEXAS does not have any STATE laws that protect workers- ONLY FEDERAL LAW PROTECTS TEXAS WORKERS!

They can absolutely require a vaccination as condition of employment or continued employment, no question, no doubt.

Agreed in general, but there are caveats. In the end, yes, employers are not required to bring back workers who aren't vaccinated during a global pandemic and national health crisis.
