The only place in continental North America that doesn't have sufficient power generating capacity and must import almost all it's power is the SDTC. This region happens to be fed by the WRIC on heavily overloaded lines. If a tripout occurs due to line overheating, the WRIC will NOT sacrifice itself to save the SDTC. It will shed that load and the SDTC goes dark. It will go dark due to their own fault. It's self inflicted, like the wildfires.

Ah yes. We should not believe the federal government that tracks the import of electricity when they say the US imports 33 million megawatthours of electricity and we shouldn't believe the power companies that say they import electricity from Canada. Instead we should rely on an idiot on the internet named Into the Night because he is omniscient and a know it all.

Niagra Falls isn't the only power plant, and it has both a U.S. side and a Canadian side.
