Slavery is not capitalism. Slaves are not allowed to leave, and are not paid. Slavery is socialism in the form of communism. The slave owner provides the slaves with food and shelter and little else. The slave owner steals the slave's labor for himself.

Nope. It's alive and well, thankfully. Unfortunately, so is socialism. Socialism can only exist by stealing wealth. It needs capitalism to create that wealth to steal from.Capitalism, like living in caves, is a necessary stage in evolution, one we have outgrown.
