Clinton mocks Trump, says his followers’ conspiracy theories are getting ‘wilder’

From your link

Some look to a potential run by Vice President Joe Biden or the newly-announced former Rep. Beto O'Rourke as a possible vehicle for a middle-of-the-road campaign

Those are the guys he calls moderates

We are not having a war

It also says "A survey by Gallup in December found 54 percent of Democratic respondents wanted a "more moderate" party." :)

Progressive or liberal ideas once they become law end up being loved and untouchable

Most of that sentiment is from those who value the possible

The young Dems always lean further left

And the shift just keeps following the pattern

The kids push us

The moderates warn us to work on what’s actually possible

Then we do the possible

Then the kids get mad we didn’t do more

Then the pattern repeats

Sanders ran in the primary. Not sure what you're referring to.

If Sanders had dropped out of that primary when it was obvious he was not going to win, Hillary would have won the general election. Rabid Sanders fans kept an unrealistic hope he could pull it off until the last minute and then were so heartbroken when he lost that they blamed Hillary and many democrats then would not vote for her. She won the popular vote as it was and certainly would have won the general if there was enough time for the democrats to come together. I think they also figured she would win anyway because who in their right mind would vote for the asshole?

Garbage. Quit whining.

Hillary lost to Trump. Sorry, she is a loser.

and Trump has never won the popular vote in any election and lost his last one by a landslide. The shithead will never again hold public office. I hope he runs in 2024 because he might just win the republican primary, but he won't stand a chance in a general election.

Yeah, I do think that many (not all) of the lefty ratfuckers never thought trump could win. The media didn't' think it could happen either, which is why they didn't report on his Russian ties, instead harping on Hillary's emails. Oh, the books they were going to write! once she took office. They were salivting. I mean, Trump himself didn't think he could win, that's why he kept calling the election rigged before it took place. It was just a perfect storm. And Sanders played his role in that storm to a T.

I believe the wackiness on both sides is coming from reading guano's inflammatory posts. Count them on this section of the forum alone.
Looney, party of one, your table is ready.

Old can mean experienced. Biden is still intelligent and can do the job. Trump wasn't and never will be qualified for the presidency. He is corrupt and amoral. He is also quite stupid.

It's a stressful job. Agreed Biden has the patience and experience but time waits for no man. The needs of the nation require a stronger, younger person regardless of party. Remember Hillary's ad about the 3AM phone call? She had a good point. Who is the better choice when it comes to an ability to handle the stress? Remember all the photos of how the Presidency ages people? https://www.history.com/news/do-u-s-presidents-age-faster-while-in-office

No doubt there's a study somewhere showing optimal ages for such positions but there's also individual health aspects to be considered. If it was up to me, presidential health would factor more heavily into nominee selections. The problem for the Democrats is that Biden is the best they have.
