No, he doesn't believe we lost a battle. He believes we lost the war because public opinion turned against it. I can understand English, apparently they don't teach such things in Canada.

I think that as long as public opinion of the war was negative we would have lost however long we stayed there. I think that if public opinion hadn't turned against the war we would have won and wouldn't have had to stay as long as we did.

I also believe that if there was a real and direct reason for the war, public opinion wouldn't have turned on the war....

I think that if you go to war in a wise way you will have that public support for your war. If you do not you will wind up with VN, with Korea, with Iraq...

He said that they lost the war. It was very clear he said "we lost the war because" right before he gave the reason. He didn't equivocate, he was direct, and he said we lost.

We lost that war. What part of that sentence is difficult for you? Do you understand the difference between a battle and a war? Or, as I said before and is now becoming truly apparent, was your education lacking?

I don't need an answer anymore, you have already proven that Canadian schools do not teach English well enough for you to take any part in a valid conversation on this matter, or you have proven that you were too lacking in gray matter to comprehend what they taught.

Now, either participate and answer the question or "act like a coward and dodge the question again".

Yep, only one question, Rudy denied there was any "wrongdoing" and it was dropped, no follow up.

But..it's a very new story.
