CNN YOUTUBE REPUBLICAN DEBATE

Yep, only one question, Rudy denied there was any "wrongdoing" and it was dropped, no follow up.

But..it's a very new story.
LOL. It was specifically about protection. They would have been wherever he was regardless of what he was doing.

Oh, they just got sandbagged by a vet, a real old vet, who asked about gays in the military. But it ends up the guy himself, is gay.

Duncan Hunter: We can't allow gays to openly serve, because it would offend conservatives who serve in the military.

Another fringe Republican group.... The Log Cabin Republicans!

Actually now that I think about it....its probably the mainstream Republican Party... Larry Craig, Foley, etc...

I think that as long as public opinion of the war was negative we would have lost however long we stayed there. I think that if public opinion hadn't turned against the war we would have won and wouldn't have had to stay as long as we did.

I also believe that if there was a real and direct reason for the war, public opinion wouldn't have turned on the war....

I think that if you go to war in a wise way you will have that public support for your war. If you do not you will wind up with VN, with Korea, with Iraq...

The Pentagon Papers concluded by the mid 1960s that we would lose the war.

That was before the anti-war movement really got strong.

Ohhh, security protection, that is what you mean.

Well, if that is the case why were the expenses buried into obscure city agencies??

Give me a break Damo!

Fred Thompson sounding better in some of his answers...I think Mitt and Rudy probably both took a hit in this debate....Rudy for saying things that are contrary to Republican dogma and Mitt for all his conversions....

CK

Mitt Romney keeps on getting the hard ass questions.....Rudy gets questions about funding for infrastructure....

WTF????

Why is CNN promoting Rudy.....

Even I laughed when he said that. His reasoning is absurd, but so are the voters he's refering to. Bible thumpers were nodding their heads with every word

The best observation was made bu Jefferey Toobin who noted that although the name Bush was hardly even mentioned, almost all republican candidates are touting the almost exact same policies put forth by Bush, with the exception of Ron Paul.

Paul did himself well in the debate, but not with republicans.

Huckabee did himself even better.
